ZCHEF Guilty Foods
Hi guys,
I have two questions for you:
1)What is your weakness when it comes to guilty foods?
2) What is your substitute for your favourite guilty foods?
Let me know in the comments below

Hi Z. First of all, your new site looks awesome and i can't wait for everything to work for 100%. About the food, my weekness is clearly chockolate, especially when i have lots of stress. I still eat it every day, but only very little pieces in my muesli, so i skip the big craving over the day and it works fine for me.
You are making me hungry :)
Thank you guys for stopping by and for your comments. Hanni, chocolate is my weakness too. I like to have a piece of chocolate when I have stress. I don't really see anything bad about that as long as you don't go overboard.
Honestly - 1 - great cheese and great red wine :) 2 - I have yet to find a substitute :( Realistically - 1 - Buttery waffles with syrup 2 - Dr. Bronner's Coconut Oil, cinnamon and a touch of honey on toasted Dave's Killer Bread (Good Seed style)
This ZCHEF episode is really cool! I think the website looks great, too. I'm so happy it worked out : ) 1) I love peanut butter milkshakes but this is what I like to do now instead, which goes into the second question: 2) I use either Adams Peanut Butter without salt or almond butter, and mix it with frozen plain organic fat-free yogurt, millk, vanilla extract, nutmeg and honey
I agree with you on that one :) I love chocolate!
Way to go. It's good to have the will power that keeps you from overeating. I like that.
thank you so much for the ZCHEF inouts. They are helpful more then you know......for instance this episode....you could be my twin when it comes to cheat food cravings........YOU and the ZWOW have been a great inspiration to our healthy lifestyle and we are Thankful to you and your team.... youhave come a long way as well Thank you on this Thanksgiving Holiday God Bless you and yours.
Hi Zuzka! So nice to see your new site. It's very cool looking! My guilty pleasure is any baked good. And I don't know how to get over them just yet.
Hi Zuzka :) Chocolate and wine are my weakness. I try to just eat a square of very dark chocolate and I think it is fine! Still trying to not love wine so much!lol
Great post, Zuzka! I do a lot of these substitutes myself. I do the frozen banana ice cream all the time! Other cravings I have are pizza, beer, wine and chocolate. I don't really substitute--I just have a little here and there instead. :) Love the new website! Keep it up--I love following you and your workouts!
Ypu are F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S! What an awesome beginning at the end of the year! Bring it on 2013. I am so happy!!! Your pics are stunning Z. My cravings are always chocolate...and honestly there is no substitute for it. When you crave chocolate, better eat it right away. I used to eat the whole kitchen when what I really needed was just a piece of chocolate! I am on board with my Master of workout Zuzana!
Hey Zuzka! :) Have you ever tried a peanut butter and banana sandwich? Soooo yummy! There are killer with a little dallop of nutella too! ;) Those are my favorite! Another weakness of mine is french fries! The tastiest substitute I've found so far: -1 Raw Jicama cut into fry shaped slices -2-3 cloves of garlic, minced -1/2 tsp of sea salt 1/8 to 1/4 tsp of cayenne paper 2 TB Olive oil Toss it all together! It doesn't really taste like french fries, but it totally satisfies my oily salty cravings!
Munchos chips. Oh they are Soo light and greasy. Best potato chips EVER. And at 2$ a bag at the Dollarama is just not good for me. Lol.oh well thanks to you Z for helping me after I eat a Large handful or three....lol. T.
Hi Zuzana, FYI...your nutrition and Zblog videos don't seem to work in Firefox... Thanks, Sabrina
Sabrina Khan, You are partly right...The image doesn't happen but I can hear the sound!
Love the new site!! Peanut butter is a major weakness for me and I believe alcohol is a guilty pleasure (I just turned 21, so my consumption has gone way up). I never realized how many calories can be in a glass of wine or a beer...eeeekkk!
Absolutely love this video for food substitutions!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Hey Z, Thanks for the tips on your video. My biggest weakness on guilty food would be cookies and chips. My substitution for them is slides apple w/ light peanut butter tip on the side. or black grapes with couple pieces of dove dark chocolate. Cheers. Chris
Aside from baked goodies I love dark chocolate. When I really feel like chocolate I grate up some 70% dark chocolate and mix into hot milk. That is my fix!
Hot Chocolate is my MUST HAVE warm beverage...I just always want it, any of time of day, any time of the year. SO, I make my own mix with instant decaf (Trader Joe's, but it's discontinued so I'll have to find another one! boo!); raw cocoa powder, coconut milk powder and White Stevia powder. One little teaspoon of my special mixture, and I can feel decadent and not worry about growing back my muffin top ;-)!
I really love the 'healthy substitutes' post! I usually have a hard time finding easy breakfasts that aren't too high in fats or carbs, so here are some of my tricks! instead of a bagel and cream cheese, I have a slice of whole wheat nut & seed bread topped with non-fat cottage cheese for less calories, more fiber, and more protein! Instead of sugary cereal, I have oatmeal with dried fruit and nuts instead of fried egg omelet I have chopped hardboiled eggs and thinly sliced veggies with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top
My main weakness has to be, like one of the other people, cheese and wine. I likely consume far too much of either, but I do make sure it's not all that frequent.
Hi! Zuzana, side looks really good congrats , my weakness has to be Peanut Butter I just Love it now I hide it from myself lol !!!
Hi ZChef! :) I tried this and I loved it! It tastes juts like an icecream sandwhich but its obviously way better for you! Cut up slices of banana, add crunchy almond butter on one slice and cover with another slice then put it in the freezer for a little while and BOOM! Healthy tiny icecream sandwhiches! :) Hope you like it! Your awesome!
I would like to know how you eat when it comes to fats, protein, carbs. The latest thing is to eat low carb, high fat. Do you follow that rule?
Hello Zuzka , I can't see the videos you upload :( I don't know if I'll be the only one...
G’Day Zuzana, The site is amazing and cannot wait till it’s fully functional. But if you need help, I’m happy to contribute some energy to help you get it happening. Just FB me! I think most of us on ZWOW have chocolate weakness but mine is the actual sweet-tooth in general but my biggest two are sweet biscuits and especially coke. Grrh! I usually substitute the sweets with some made cookies without the added sugar and substitute almost the recipe for healthier options, but even now and again, I do buy the cream biscuits which is usually about once or twice a year. I also stay away from pasties too. I guess, I LOVE FOOD! I sub the coke for x2 glasses of lemon water or water. It helps kick the habit and comfort zone popping up. Coke tastes terrible after a while and sad for the dentist who cleans my pearls. Opt for better teeth guys ;) Every week I plan a day that I eat whatever want… I find myself eating healthier and opting for a better nutritional plan. I love Sushi – that is my guiltiest pleasure! Chow, Erial x
Hello Zuzka! My weaknesses are definitely chocolate and baked sweets. For the chocolate, there isn't really any true substitute, but it's usually enough to simply drizzle a little melted dark chocolate over a small puffed brown rice cake. For the baked goods, I typically end up throwing together a pancake with fruit syrup. For the pancake, I mix together buckwheat flour, ground flax seeds, a dash of salt, baking powder, ginger powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground clove, a little allspice, sweetened vanilla almond milk, egg whites, and unsweetened apple sauce to replace the butter. Using buckwheat instead of regular flour makes them a lot denser than traditional pancakes and kicks out the cravings better. You can toss together the dry ingredients and store them in a ziplock bag in the fridge for a few days to speed up subsequent preparations as well. For the fruity syrup I just sauté a bunch of berries, usually blueberries but sometimes strawberries and apple chunks too, with a dash of cinnamon until it forms a thick, chunky syrup.
Thanks always for motivating me to workout and keeping me inspired You truly are an inspiration
And cream and sugar in coffee are my weakness at times :(
Congrats! I love the ZCHEF ...awsome concept. You may not remember me but I've been back and for between babies for the last four years. I always wish you well. You're my favorite workout buddy
Chocolate & organic chocolate spread on pancakes or bread. Cheese. Substitutes? I just try to eat less chocolate and less often. Drink water. I eat an apple with a few slices of cheese so I eat less cheese.
Hello: My substitude for chocolate desert is: 250g of non ft quark(tvaroh odtucneny) mixed with one teaspone of honey and a bit of hot wather to make it creaamylooking, than mix one table spoon of cocoa n one teaspoon of honey and hot wather to create source that you poor over thhhe quark with fruit of your choice(bananas and blooberies), it is heaven. lots of protein no fat :)
Hi Suzana, i really like your video. I really love to eat Greak yogourt with pistachio and honey. I love your chocolate brownies recipe. Thank's for your extraordinari work! You have a amasing body and personality

Home-made french fries. Luckily I can control myself easily. never buy potatoes nor oil ( I only use olive oil for my remaining food, The only thing I use sunflower oil is to fry potatoes. And In the last 4 years I managed to eat them less then 10 Times
Oh I love this! We need more food ideas :)
Donuts....freshly made, crispy-on-the-outside-warm-and-soft-on-the-inside donuts covered in cinnamon sugar mmmmmm :D But my favourite healthy snack is avocado and fruit jam on toast.
Its actually funny that you say you never had PB&J, i just tried it the other day, everyone was in shock that it was my first time, i guess its just us being from over the seas
Brownies are my weakness! I have an amazing recipe I've found that is perfect!!! I call them no bake brownies:D http://www.rawfoodrecipes.com/recipes/raw-brownies-with-chocolate-icing-of-pure-amazingness.html I also love ice cream!! All I do is in a blender blend a frozen banana with a 1/4 cup chocolate almond milk (sugar free), and blend into an amazing bowl of ice cream!!!!
