Christmas In a Nutshell

This year we had a Charlie Brown’s Christmas Tree. It was a left over that was going to be thrown away. It was perfect for us tho. We put it into a vase up on a tall table in the living room where it was nice and safe, and then we just let Santa do his job.

The 5lb chocolate bar that is bigger than Gypsy was one of my Christmas presents. I am still wondering how long is it going to take me to eat that thing.

I also got the new iphone 5 that I really wanted and the main reason was that it has a way better camera then my old iphone and I love being able to take pictures everywhere I go.

Here is a picture that I took yesterday on our trip to Monterey with my new iphone. It has the cool Panorama feature.

We went to the cabin to spend the Christmas day with family and friends and to say hi to Commo The Cabin Cat and Sara The Smart Puppy.

Who do you think is a better model for promoting Smart Water. Sara or Jennifer Aniston? Haha.
How was your Christmas? What did you get? What did you do and eat??
Have an amazing after Christmas day!!!

Monterrey is beautifulll!!! Looks like Christmas was fun
Dang that is one big Hersey bar. If it was Dark Chocolate it would be perfect. Enjoy!
Hi Zuzka Im glad you got what you wanted for christmas. I did too, Yay! I wish you happy Holidays and always the best, God bless.
I can't wait to see Monterey on our trip across country and down the Californian Coast this summer!! Can't wait to live in Cali again!
ohhh that chocolat bar looks so damn tasty!!! hihi. glad to hear that you had a great christmas. mine was okè too. I had a cheaqe for a snowboard!! loving it.
Hi Zuzka I eat too much cake. But is okay I did zwow 48 and run 2 miles this morning hoo and also I got A Cowboys Jersey zweet
I used to go to Monterey every year with my Dad when he was still with us! Gorgeous place, sooo jelly. I made a massive feast for my family and friends which consisted of prime rib, sides galore and a Bûche de Noël that put Martha Stewart's to shame. Happy holidays! Now time to work it off...
I spent the day watching pro basketball- GO LAKERS!! Then went for a drive to see all the lights. This morning i did hill sprints with my brand new bluetooth headphones. all in all, i had a nice, chill holiday.
I spent the day with my husband and our 4 young children. My husband bought me exactly what I wanted, a dip station and a sand bag! I love it! Glad you had a beautiful day as well!
What a beautiful landscape Zuz :)(and great gift!) Now for the Smart Water promo, Sara, definitely! XD. Well my Christmas was just fine! :) For Supper Night I cooked a version of our national 'cod-fish à Brás' (which is a codfish braised in onions and olive oil, then one adds regular chips but the ones in sticks -I know! lol- and finally full eggs that were mixed/ stir first when raw. One mixes this all together and let it cook for a while and that's it, delicious traditional dish. It also takes salt, pepper, and at the end its spread with fresh parsley and olives. The other version I used has just a slight variation: instead of the cod-fish one uses leek! It sooo delicious! XD. Then lots of great indulgent bonbons as well, as gifts (but I'm having mine wisely and in a balanced way!) and of course the traditional 'King Cake' of ours, a must at every house's table ;) - rustic batter (that one done at the pastry, extended with a roll and that takes yeast) and filled and topped as well with dried fruits. I'm actually quitting starches and cereals so I'm avoiding this, but I had to taste at least a little bit of it; is sooo good and simple, rustic cake (actually this is, again, a version that is 'officially' always sold just the same way as for the original one, but the difference is that the traditional, original cake also has sweetmeat on it which I hate so I always choose this fruit version one!)!. And last, some dried fruits on my table as well, and that was about it for me (once traditionally the Christmas tables here are always full of all sorts of sweets and desserts)! Then for the Christmas day itself, I ended up having this crazy afternoon snack experience, almost by chance: I ended up on the mall (XD) along with my partner, almost empty mall of course no stores open, and I was hungry at the time already (I walked there by foot too, and BTW I did have my workout done in the morning ;)) and on the restaurants zone the only one (along with KFC! lol yep we do have it as well) open was the Chinese one (they don't celebrate Christmas and they have a different calendar right). I chose the fried shrimp with salad dish (just like that; the salad had carrot, lettuce, soybeans of course, onion, and seaweed I believe) and they also put there some shrimp wafers, hmm so delicious (sound like my Christmas was all about food) XD
hello Zuz! my favourite things I got for Christmas were; my awesome spin bike!! a new lululemon outfit, and my Legend of Zelda bomb bag! hahahaha! I had lots of goodies, chocolate, and fantastic turkey dinner with lots of dressing, veggies, smd gravy. so worth it! I've been exercising lots and being relatively good with my diet. have a wonderful day!
:)
Sara can promote Smart Water and I'll drink more of it!! Monica www.pear-shaped-gal.com
By the time you finish that Hershey bar it's going to be Christmas time again! ;) the pictures from your new phone look great. Our Christmas was very low-key and somber, as my wife's father passed away just a few days before Christmas. She's been doing your workouts for a few months now and is looking forward to getting back to the workouts in the new year.. I got her some WarriorZ shirts for Christmas but we haven't exchanged gifts yet because of the funeral and all the family business to attend to, but I know she'll love them. You are quite an inspiration to her. :)
Spent Xmas with my family and 5 dogs. Turkey, mashed potatoes, Brussel sprouts, stuffing (I endured some pain for that one, since I am gluten intolerant) and wine. Then a spontaneous drive around the city to look at all the decorated houses. Lovely and enjoyable.

Boots! ...and a calligraphy set :) Nice pics, we always get androids due to services on the East Coast...but, so happy to see you enjoyed your Christmas~Bless you this New Year Zuzka :)
Went to my sister's for dinner and presents. I left Seattle around 11 AM on a short ferry ride (30 minutes ) drove about 10 miles on the Kitsap Peninsula and as I drove it started snowing and by the time I reached Judy's home there was about 2 inches of snow covering everything. Enjoyed the family and didn't really get any presents, but then I didn't need anything but their company to be happy! Lou, my niece's Mom just died and she had a Christmas Party in Lake Stevens last Saturday (22). Last time I saw my Mom a live was 12/25/2009 so this time of year is bitter sweet for me. --Chris PS nice to see you commenting Lish!
The main gifts we give for New Year, not Christmas. Fun and celebrate the New Year, at the Christmas we just pray and go to church (January 6-7) I also will give iPhone, can not wait :)
Merry Christmas Zuzana! Thank you for inspiring me!

Merry Christmas! I love that you still keep your blog so personal with us! Your enthusiasm is contagious and your workouts amazing! All the best!
When I was still eating chocolate, this would have lasted maximum 2 weeks :-p
I ate too much of everything and it was heavenly! I got... A new phone, workout clothes, a gift card, home decor, candles, comfy winter clothes and 3 pairs of shoes! Cant wait to start working out again :)
5lb chocolate bar :-/ I cried when I saw that I got a 1 pounder knowing that I would eat it. I also got the 1lb Reese cup. Happy holidays :-)
I'm glad your Christmas was happy and fun with so many adorable animals around :) Mine was also filled with furry friends. I spent Christmas with my boyfriend's family (since I didn't have the money for a flight to my parents' house). They were very welcoming, which I appreciated immensely. They have 4 cats: Smoodgie, Fluffy, Ozzy, and Benjamin; and 3 dogs: Marley, Bailey, and Reggae. The puppies and I were completely spoiled with so many presents. I received a fuzzy blue pair of heels, a cute necklace with a black diamond snake charm, a set of 4 chick-flicks, a heated zebra-stripe blanket, a Zelda:Skyward Sword game, and an assortment of chocolatey treats. VERY spoiled haha Other than the excitement from opening presents, we mostly relaxed and enjoyed each other's company :) Happy Holidays!
Uau, these photos are amazing! I mean that one with your new iphone. My dinner was mainly fish and some potato roasten in oven. Before Christmas I had been fasting for 40 days (I fast every year 40 days before Christmas, and my fast is actually a fast from all the food tat contains sugar) and on Christmas day, when we had dinner, I ate a piece of pastry and i enjoyed it's taste so much :) And that's mainfuly it. Thank you for posting, Zuzana. Happy New Year!
great presents! i have the same iphone and i love it! :) My Christmas was healthy except for 3 Godiva dark chocolates and wine. Apart from that it was great! Oh, and I did a ZWOW on Christmas day :) hehehe
5lb Hershey bar doesn't seem like a very good present for you....just saying.
I am a new follower. Do you have a Bio page explaining who you are, how you got into fitness, what your journey is, etc...? I am loving your workout concepts and am interested in a DVD. Thanks!
I got the iphone5 for Xmas too :) cuz I love to take pics-lol
Love how much you love animals! That puppy is so adorable as are all the puppies you post pictures of :)
