I usually have at least one a day consisting of almond milk, almond butter, protein powder, chia seeds, LOTS of spinach and some berries. What are your thoughts on green smoothies? 		<description>hi Zuzka, I have just watched your video about self control and remembered that article I have read somewhere back in 2008. just a few tricks to fool ourselves into healthier eating:
1. drink a lot, which will already make you feel less hungry
2. if you&#039;re hungry you can eat soups more often - they will fill you up faster than e.g. a steak
3. and my very favourite, which worked for me the most: I have always had my favourite treats at home but every time I had a craving for them I told myself: &quot;eat an apple first and if you still want a cookie afterwards, be it&quot; and belive it or not, I hardly ever had a cookie after my apple just because I managed to get the stress out of it and I tricked myself into the feeling of having a choice instead of forbidding things! and that summer I was in the best shape of my life :)

My husband and I get our meat from a local CSA that we know so we can feel confident that the animals were pasture raised and treated well.  We try to honor the creatures that sustain us.  I used to be vegetarian.</description>
