Stupid Roof, I can’t shoot my warm up video…
Hi Warriorz,
I can’t shoot the warm up, because I don’t have where. I was going to go up on the roof today, but it’s locked. That’s life tho
so my goal over this weekend is to shoot the warm up routine for you in the beautiful scenery of Monterey. Wish me luck.
Best,
Z.

So glad to hear that Cocoa is doing much better. The knee recovery is a long and sometimes tedious one, but it's well worth it in the end! I work in a vet clinic and it's so rewarding to see how much better the dogs that we operate on are after they have healed. Have a fun and safe trip Zuzka!
which do you suggest: workout first thing in the morning or the afternoon after work? Or when we can fit it in?
I say work out whenever you can fit it in. I usually try to do it first thing so that if the day gets too hectic, I know I've at least done my workout... of course, usually what ends up happening is I work out as soon as I get home from work because I slept in, hehehe!
Thank you Nicole :)
Hi Megan, it doesn't matter when do you work out. Try different times and see what works for you the best.
Hi, could you give us an example of your meal plan, Zuzana? I believe you do not take supplements at all. I am planning on stopping my whey intake and seeing what your nutrition is like pre and post workout as well as through the day would be a huge help to me. Thanks!
I agree. I usually do it after work so I don't get tempted to eat out of boredom and it works well for me. Everyone is different and I think we make too many excuses and too much restrictions when we put the focus on "when" to workout. I think, as long as it gets done, you are good to go. Oh, of course, not right before bed though - that might mess with your sleep. Good luck.
Have a great weekend and thank you so much for all of your efforts and the great workouts you prepare for us every week. No need to rush! Have downloaded a certain warm-up routine you did in Malta a long time ago, together with all the ZWOW workouts. All very much appreciated :-)
I am glad coco is doing well :) With you giving her lots of love she will be fine in no time:D I can try to share what I do for a warmup before a zwow. Hmm I wonder how close mine are to yours :) I do Toe touching: Standing up arms out wide I touch my right hand to my left toe then I stand backup and touch my left hand to my right toe, Then Arm circles: small circles to medium to large then I do them with arm rotation backwards, Then Hip circles. Then a few of this lunging forward and at the same time I do a wide arm cross. I sort of lack in putting it into words but I am sure you get the idea :)
Hey Z! I've heard that sleep is really important when working on fitness (or anything really) but i only get 5-6 hours of sleep, if i'm lucky. Is that ok? If not, what could i do about it? I know the common sence answer would be, GET MORE SLEEP! But like i said, i'm luck if i get 5 or 6 so more just isn't possible :( Thanks, YOU ROCK!
Your workouts are superb. I live in West Hollywood. You can use our courtyard if you ever get locked out again. PM me. My husband and I are stable and boring middle-aged sports coaches. :-)
Great!! We were in need of warm up guidance! :-)
I am very glad that you are going to post warm up and stretch routine this weekend! Thank you so much! I am also looking forward to watch video of Coco!
Hey Zuzana, After you make the stretching video, would you then make one about portion sizes? Or write a blog about it? whichever:) I'd like to know how you portion meals/snacks on a daily basis. I know what clean foods are, but have trouble not indulging in more than I need... Thank you!
great to hear that Cocoa is getting better^^ cannot wait to see the post for the warm up!! Thank Zuzka^^ Love your workout!!!!
It'is truily wonderful to hear Coco is doing well with her recovery. Enjoy your weekend! If you can do the video as well fine, but first enjoy Monterey! Surf's up! :-) You should fine who locked the roof off and ask for a key... --Chris
Hi Zuz, I have just been told by one man that if a woman exercises, it is a phychical problem, that exercising for woman is a kind of protest behaviour against her nature role :D I am an owner of a fitness blog where I also support you and sometimes I have to read really stupid comments but this one made me laugh and I had to share that one with you :D He said that psychologist or a priest would help us :D Have a nice day :D
Hi Zu, I don't know if it's just me, but I cannot watch any of your videos (except for the workouts) on your website. I always have to go to your youtube channel. Just wondering if there's anything wrong with the website or if it's something with my computer. =/ Anyways, I still watch them on your Youtube channel, so whatever. :P I love all of your new Zwows and can't wait to get the DVD's in the mail to start your Zcut program. I'm so excited!!! :) Keep up the great work. Will always support you, because you are not just strong and beautiful. You're genuine and I can tell you're also not only passionate about fitness. You want the world to be as well and feel as good about their bodies and themselves as you do. Respect. Hugs and safe travels! Andrea
Hi Kristina, All I can say is WOW! We should make a contest for comments like that :) You should start a conversation with him and ask what exactly is a woman's nature and purpose. I am sure you would get way more laugh out of his answers.
Hi Andrea, I am sorry that you are having problems loading the videos on my site. I wish I could fix all the bugs myself. I always forward every problem with the site to the programmer. I am glad that you are giving the dvds a try because I really believe in the program and want to see people's progress
Hi Amber! I'm glad you posted your comment asked for the video. It really helps when you guys ask specific questions :) and Im happy to do videos for you.
Hey there, just wondering if we can get a back exercise day? Maybe some back, butt and hammy exercises. I also miss using my pull up bar. Not trying to complain, just a suggestion, I totally love your workouts and already bought your DVDs! XO Katie
So very excited about the DVD's can't wait yayy. Got me sweating and burning calories with the ZWOWs. xo
Would you mind mentioning the importance of rest and recovery days at one point. I have been researching how important they are. I train 6 days a week right now and really have to force myself to take that one day off ( I train HARD). I feel as though everything turns to jello on that one day, even if I am still lightly active. After reading that it's during the rest time that your muscles repair themselves and you get your results, I feel that I really need it pounded into my head (I'm sure there are others that do too). It would be nice to hear it from you
