Be The FitSh*t – Coffee Talk

 | 78 Comments  | Blog

Hey guys,

I did my best to talk about some of the topics you’ve been asking me about. Thank you again for leaving your comments and questions. If you didn’t hear me talking about your question this time, it’s possible I have already replied to you in the comments on the previous Coffee Talk, and if not, I might be covering your topic next time.

This video is dedicated mostly to Intermittent Fasting, (if you want more info about what I was talking about, check out The Every-Other-Day Diet: The Diet That Lets You Eat All You Want (Half the Time) and Keep the Weight Off by Krista Varady) I also share 5 healthy snacks you can make in less than 5 minutes, and also a simple tip for pull up modifications. Then there are some of the sponsorships mixed in – mostly the free clothes I haver received lately. I hope you’ll have fun watching and I hope you have more questions for me to cover next time!

By the way the winner of my last week’s Giveaway is an Instagram account with the handle @UBRodriguez  – total dude by the way. This couldn’t have been more random 🙂 haha. Oh well, dude’s getting pink bedazzled sneakers from Pink Ivy.

This week’s Giveaway is sponsored by who sent me their base kit for $114 to give to one of you lucky guys. It’s a portable exercise equipment you can hook into your doorway or on a tree and do bunch of bodyweight exercises with it. Just remember, you have to have an Instagram account and follow me @ZuzkaLight – find the Giveaway post and follow the instructions. It’s really simple. I will be picking the winner in my next week’s Coffee Talk the same way I did in this one. Good luck!

P.S. Anyone of you lives in Hawaii? Jesse and I are going there for vacation at the end of this month for my birthday.

    ZUZKA, ideas for coffee talk:
say I can’t jump, run, skip, no plank, no plow, no intense abs (e.g. no knee hugs, no reverse burpee) , no heavy lifting, no deep squat, no Valsalsa manoeuvre. WHAT CAN I DO??
all the above do create too much abdominal pressure and not indicated for my condition (which it is said to cover more than 50% of people…so it would still benefit a large audience)
I know I can still do most yoga/stretch&tone, but then I miss a whole HIIT portion (swimming sprints, ha ha)

    Hi Zuzka,
One interested topic would be vegetarian versus meat-eater. I have read and listen to various opinions about how good or bad it is to include meat in our daily diet being very confused about what to believe and what to finally follow. I am trying to keep a balance by not eating too much meat or not at all and I also listen to my appetite. For example, I enjoy eating fish much more than chicken or red meat. But still there are many who believe that meat should be avoided because of antibiotics used by animals, colorectal cancer etc. Others argue that meat is not ideal for the human body due to our digestive system (long intestinal tracts), because we do not have carnivorous teeth etc. I don’t know anymore what is Marketing, what is based on scientific proof and what to finally believe. You include a lot of white meat in your diet as well as veggies…could you share your opinion, have ever considered to become vegetarian, could you elaborate? Thanks a lot!
