Good luck with school! Way to go girl how every now and then you keep digging for more knowledge and training 🙂
Can you show us how did you stop eating sugar and unhealthy sweets? Did you approach it slowly or did you just cut it off?
One more question about postural therapy, how often should we be doing it? On a regular basis or only when we feel pain in some area?
Thank you for taking the time to read and answer and shoot the videos, good luck with everything. Love and respect ❤️

Cutting out unhealthy things was a process for me, but I found out that adding healthy things was a better approach than cutting out bad things. It felt like I was actually eating things I wanted to eat instead of restricting myself. The more healthy meals you add to your daily diet, the less space there is for the bad stuff. I did that gradually. If you feel pain, then you should do it daily. Once the pain is gone, I suggest every other day. I try to do it every other day or as often as possible, but it is time consuming. I’m thinking about putting together shorter routines that you guys can use on a daily basis.

Yeah you’re right, it will be like your body will want what it can’t have and will make it worse. I should be taking all the sweet sugary stuff out of the cupboards :p
thanks for the advise, my joints definitely need alignment and adjustment and I can’t seem to find the time to do the whole postural therapy (though it helped me a lot before) so a shorter, every-day routine would be amazing!!
thank you gorgeous! you’re the best! <3

Hey Zuzka, do you have any suggestion what you are doing when you are really hungry, don´t have much time or you are not at home and did´t manage to prepare something? Something like an SOS Meal that took not longer than 5 Minutes or what to buy on the way to an appointment?
Second question: there a often days I am sooooooo hungry even though a have a good breakfast, I take care of drinking enough, I eat my prepared meal but it´s not enough, I could eat every hour, it´s like burning everything immediately but in fact I´m not doing, because I can´t loose weight. And I´m not bored or sad or anything like this. Dana (from this community, she write the comment right before me) told me, that she had the same problems as she tired her body up. Do you have any suggestions?
    Thank you

Hey Zuzka! I noticed in this coffee talk, you had a pole. What do you think about adding pole workouts to your Zgym? “DRAGONfly brand” (youtube) has some good ones, but I know you can make it fun and challenging.

Yes! That would be a fun Z special. I’d love to use my pole in the zgym 🙂 I saw that pole in the background too but I don’t think it was an aerial pole. Looked like part of camera equipment or something. But I could be wrong.

I am planning on doing a series with with the pole. Haven’t get the time for it yet but I really want to do it. I have some ideas on how to make these workouts fun and different.

That ice cream looks delicious. I’m always making whole food smoothies in my Vitamix but haven’t made any ice cream since last summer and it’s getting hot here. I almost forgot that I need to use the tamper. I use plain full fat Greek yogurt but I will have to try that goat kefir. But on the plus side of using this yogurt is that I have gotten my husband to substitute sour cream with yogurt so at least he’s getting more nutrition. I was surprised that he liked it because we always had to have sour cream in the fridge.
I do have a question for you, Zuzka. How do you feel about bodybuilding? I’ve always been inspired by some of the women like Corey Everson who is now 59, Demi Moore (when she beefed up for some of her movies) and here in recent past – Ernestine Shepherd, 77 year old bodybuilder who started at age 56. I’ve never been able to get the muscle I’ve always desired even after being a CPT and following other fitness celebrities and now you. Just thinking I might need to take my fitness up a few notches.

Well, I’m not a bodybuilder. I have been to bodybuilding expos and events and I look like a mosquito next to those girls 🙂 haha. I think that bodybuilding can be really good for you if you do it the natural and healthy way, which is totally possible. It’s going to take you to figure out what works for you and what diet will help you to build lean muscle mass. You can start implementing the general advice on how to build muscles but there will always have to be an individual approach. What works for others doesn’t have to necessarily work for you.

Mosquito…that’s funny! I know you’re not a bodybuilder but I would just love to have your muscle definition. I want that more than bulk. The only thing I would like to bulk up is my glutes. I have small hips so my waist doesn’t look as small as I want it to. But I agree, Zuzka, about the individualized approach. I know my body type is skinny but will gain fat before it gains muscle without hard work and proper diet. I get so frustrated because I eat really healthy most of the time without significant gains in muscle. That’s why I just need to stay focused on my workouts. Plus, I often think I don’t get enough protein which I’m working on getting more into my daily diet. Matter of fact, I’m ordering your protein fat burner today. I use natural unflavored unsweetened whey protein powder but I’m also going to start using egg whites and casein. Thanks for your reply. Happy Hump Day! 😀

Hi Zuzka, thank you for this coffee talk! I really enjoyed it 🙂 I am also wondering if you can share your thoughts on intermittent fasting in one of your next coffee talks? I’ve heard a little about it from a few people but am interested to hear your opinion as well. Also, do you still drink bulletproof coffee in the mornings?

Lastly, non-fitness related, what is your favorite activity to do with your dogs? I am a huge dog lover and I love seeing your pups whenever they make an appearance in your videos. Give them all kisses from me 🙂

Zuzka, Your skin is amazing and I know by your previous coffee talks that you use homemade body scrubs, but I wonder if you use any essential oils? For example, Sandalwood, Cedar wood, Palmarosa or Roman Chamomile oils? Also, I am SO excited to hear that you are learning about Holistic Nutrition and I can’t wait to get advice on how to eat healthier.
Thanks for everything that you do for us!

First of all, absolutaly love how you listen to critisism and use it to be better each time and use transparency very smartly. Well, you are a smart woman, no doubt:)

Big Q: Have you ever faced comparing yourself to others and feeling down from doing so? How do you cope with that or avoid doing it?
I think one answer would be that you dont have time to do that:) perhaps in the past.
Being a human i think everyone has this tendency, and if anyone else has something to say about that, like own tips besides the cliches, let me know, would love to hear it:)

    Much love

Such a wonderful coffee talk Zuzka. I always love them and how you talk about balance, it’s so great how you live a healthy lifestyle with your home training and yet have a lovely balance in life. It’s fantastic.
I also am curious your thoughts about IF? I know someone asked about that as well. Is it beneficial to go 14-16 hours in a fast?
My other question was what are your thoughts on working out with weighted vests?. My husband bought me one some time ago and I used it for skipping and burpees but it actually started to hurt my lower back and prefer not to incorporate it as added resistance.

Oh and yes are you still drinking bullet proof coffee ? Are you bringing back any new summer glute series ?i think so many of us love Glute exercises :)) happy Friday and you need to do a video with all the dogs, like something you guys enjoy on weekends etc, walking, sitting outside …Love them and you 🙂 xo

The weighted vest is a good equipment to use in strength exercises such as push ups, pull ups, squats, or some people like to use it for improving their explosiveness and speed in running sessions. You are always putting yourself into more risk of injury when doing any jumping exercises with the vest. Every jump with the weighted vest can compress your spine and reinforce any muscle imbalance. Also, you might want to make sure that the vest is not too heavy for you. There’s a general rule of thumb that the vest shouldn’t weigh more than 10% of your bodyweight if you’re using it for general conditioning and want to keep your training as safe as possible.

I do still drink bullet proof coffee and I am going to launch a bikini butt workout program soon 🙂 XO

do you ever wear a vest and would you recommend them for pull ups if one still can not do a pullup. i have tried them during your body crush workouts and others, but have mixed feelings if it really is worth it to improve fitness or not.

Thank you Zuzka, you are so sweet for taking your taking to answer questions. I have to agree the weighted vest can compress the spine and during any jumping movement can actually have those negative affects. I agree in using for things like pull ups, push ups etc. Excited for the bikini butt program, each year you continue to bring fabulous series in the zgym. I will ask my other question for the coffee talk u posted yesterday. You do get great questions from many of us ladies 😉 you are wonderful

I have been doing your workouts for almost two weeks and love them! You have a kindness about you that is so endearing. You have been kicking my tail with these workouts and it feels so good. I loved your tip on prioritizing, asking yourself the question, does this get me closer to my goals. Love that. Really helped me not feeling so overwhelmed. I do have a question about the fat burner, does that provide faster results? Or is it more of an energy boost to help you workout with more energy?

    • private avatar image

The fat burner gives you energy and boost your metabolism so your body will be burning more calories. What it also does is that it suppress appetite making it easier for people to cut down on calories which helps with fat loss.

Personal question: Maybe you have already answered this question but I couldn’t find it so I figured I would ask. How do you keep from losing your boobs when getting fit? I was always very active and skinny but had decent size breasts. However, I stopped working out for a few years and now as I am getting back into fitness, I have noticed that my breasts keep shrinking. I do pushups and such but what else can I do to help keep them from shrinking or to make them grow?

Haha yep those are always the first to go! With exception of a few women, most lean, fit women have small chest unless they’ve had work. That’s the price we pay😂

You can’t stop that 🙂 there’s just no way back. I got a boob job in my mid twenties when my boobs got really small and soft and I was too vein to let it go 🙂
