Bare_minerals

After trying some products from bareMinerals for the very fist time, this brand become one quickly one of my favorites…

blush

This complexion enhancer can be used as a blush, eye color, highlighter or even a lip color if you combine it with a lip balm. I like the versatility and also the twist and swirl, no mess container.
bareMinerals Pure Radiance Face Color

eye-shadows

This is an eye shadow color that won’t smug or run. I use the Soft Linen color as a base for my darker color eye shadows.
bareMinerals 5-in-1 Bb Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum Spf 15

mascara

This mascara is very easy to apply thanks to the petite brush that allows for detailing of my teeny tiny lashes in the corner of my eyes. It adds the perfect amount of volume and lasts all day without irritating my eyes (which can sometime happen with a bad quality mascara. Don’t get me started).
bareMinerals Lash Domination Volumizing Mascara Petite Precision Brush

Powder

I absolutely love this powder. It’s translucent so it won’t alter the color of your foundation – and you know how annoying that can be if you have the perfect color foundation. You just don’t want the powder to ruin it. You can use the matte (on the left) for any oil absorption and long lasting finish. The glow infused powder (on the right) with rose gold pearls illuminates your skin and you can use it all over your face or just to accentuate your features like the cheekbones or the bridge of your nose. You can also run the face brush from left to right a couple times and apply a blend of both.

I love Bare Minerals! It’s the only brand I use now!

I had a severe problem with acne a few years back… long story short my skin is cleared up so I am happy to not use any makeup, but when I feel I could use a little boost I use mineral makeup because it seems to work best for sensitive skin (and eyeballs!). I haven’t tried bareMinerals yet, but I know several people that recommended it.

How did you get rid of your acne?? I have fought with it since I was 12. I almost have it clear but the redness and scars are still driving me crazy! I have gotten rid of active breakouts, naturally.

It kind of depends on the type you have, is it hormonal, cosmetic or a food sensitivity? If it’s on your jawline it’s usually hormonal, if it’s on the middle of your cheeks it’s usually a diet problem (blood sugar spikes) and if it’s all around randomness it’s probably cosmetic. Check out The Love Vitamin and follow Tracy’s advice.

Will definitely give this mascara a go. I wear contacts and always have some sort of irritation with eye makeup.

What about animal testing? Do anyone know anything about it?

According to PETA’s cruelty-free list, BareMinerals does not test on animals and they are considered cruelty-free.

I looove the brand Juice Beauty. It’s another organic skincare and makeup line with natural ingredients. I do prefer bare minerals lip gloss more though. 🙂
