Did you ever notice the similarities between dogs and their owners? I think that Charlie and I do look like we belong together. He’s been my family for over 8 years and watched hundreds of my workouts 🙂 If I could recommend anything else for your active living, besides regular exercise and healthy diet, it would be adopting a dog. He’ll lift your spirit and your ass off the couch. He’ll be your best buddy for hiking, running, swimming, and watching movies. Seriously, I could not imagine my life without him (and Santino, Coco, and Gypsy).

I hope you’ll have fun with today’s workout and take your best friend for a long walk, hike or at least a short run afterwards! 😉

I enjoyed this. I modified it a bit. Instead of pike presses I did handstands (by squatting down a bit on one leg, alternating) + jump tuck. I was able to hold the handstand for a few seconds most of the time. Though I didn’t want to hold for my max ability, since it’s an HIIT workout.

    Love pistols and side lunges.

Did it 3 times total for 15 minutes, with 1 minute of high knees with a jump rope and 1 minute of double unders after each 5 minute set. Good workout, phew!

Also did the deadlifts today (for the lifted butt series) with my 35 lbs. kb.

I’m set for the day. Now for studying, writing papers, and getting stuff done…

Hi Zu…today is one of those days when I do not feel like doing anything! Strange day, with things going wrong…cancellations, delays, everything done at wrong time, no sun in the sky…anyways…let us move on! I did two times this workout because I hated it so much and I was soooo slow that I punished myself…hahaha…done twice, most horrible 5 min wo ever…second exercise is killer but I can not blame it, I think I am not in a good mood today…still I will do my homework for my butt 😀 see you all, nice weekend to everybody! Take care.

There is nothing better in this world than a dog. Good energy plus pure faithful and unselfish love. I take my standard poodle & border collie mix (“rudy”) for run before my doing zuzkas every morning. Thanks for supporting the cause Zuzka!! Once again you are on my wave length. Adopting rather than buying an animal is so important…

Love your doggies!!! amd I bet your can even do burpees!!

super proud of myself today..I just came back from a 6hr drive put my workout pants on on got to it. 5 min workout #38, 5 min workout #46 and LBS homework (20 weighted deadlift each leg x 4 with 25lb KB).

Today was the first day I actually went for the pistol squats while assisting myself with a chair… I usually substitute them with surrender squats but today I felt like I wanted to try. First round i was using a lot of arm muscle to get back up but second round I was feeling it in my core, butt and legs rather than my arms!…it will take a bit til I can do it on my own but that’s a step forward!!

Haven’t done this one yet but I have to say that is the nicest top you have worn to date! Colour is amazing on you and the shorts are super cute, just simple but really athletic and casual looking….what are they? Can’t wait to try this…with modified pistols 🙂
