Adding an extra ab focused workout into your weekly schedule has been my priority for a while. From my own experience, you can improve a lot of your sport specific or general athletic skills if you work on strengthening your core muscles on a regular basis and as much as possible. You can repeat this workout twice or three times if you feel like you can handle it or you can do it once in the morning and once in the evening.

5 Min AMRAP

1. Plank Jump Up x 5

2. Plank Jack x 5

3. Side Plank Knee Tuck x 6

4. Plank Jump (to the right) / kick through push up to the left x 6

Progress Tracker rules for this workout:

1 round is 17 reps. I count the 6 set in the last combo as 6 reps. If you don’t finish the whole set, you can’t count it as a rep towards your score.

    Wow, I marked this as a favorite. It was not just for core and abs and stability, but definitely cardio!! Perfect for today!

    Also simple for my tired brain. 🙂

    I did it twice with a minute of rest in between each 5 min set.
    1st round- 4 rounds+ #1, 2 reps of #2 (75 reps total)
    2nd round- 3 rounds and #1, 2, 3, and 4 reps of #5 (71 reps total)

    I followed with my own lower body workout and did the band work of Lifted Butt 16X

    Waaaaaait, if the last exercise is 1 rep per combo (6 reps total),, then each round is 22 reps…

    OK so the first time I did 95 reps
    Second time I did 86

    I kept up with Zuzana until the very last round than I was only able to move in slow motion.
    I love being all sweaty! Totally feel like mission accomplished.

    82 reps i feel it in the soulders and arms, cardio too

    82 reps (counting each round as 22reps). I was 1 rep behind Zuzka. My shoulders were dying!

    Hi Zu and friends! I was planning to do this one today but somehow I woke up feeling strange…I had a hard yoga session yesterday and I guess I am getting the reflex of inner changes on next day…so whole day I was feeling drained out and with neck pain, very sleepy and lethargic. So I decided not to force my body. I took a bath and had a green tea…felt better instantly. I just did 22 M burpees and 30 min yoga practice with inversions. Done for the day. Tomorrow if I am at home, I will do this one. See you all, take care.

    Hi Zu and friends…I did this one today! Nice short and energetic workout…I was tired so felt it in my score but no problems, keep going. Zu your reps are 82, one less than mine. I kept going with you all the time. I do not know how you count but it seems not right. One round is 22 reps girl! I did 24 M burpees just before the workout. We went to a park nearby and I also did 30 min skating…feeling good. Now bath, lunch and I will practice yoga in the evening. See you all, take care.

    1st time-27th Mar 2016-5 min-3 rounds+exercises 1, 2, 3 and 1 rep of exercise 4 (exercise 4 was hard!)

    great, great cardio and abs, i loved it!!! preceded by #68 and 5 pull-ups, followed by 5 wall-walk push-ups INTENSE!
