Hey guys,

Active nation day is finally here and I’m super excited to lead a workout at the Lorna Jane’s event in Santa Monica Place. It’s open to everyone who wants to come over and spend a few hours having fun and being active. If you can’t come over and workout with me live, then I’d like to encourage you to do this workout at home and celebrate Active Nation Day with me online 🙂

P.S. This workout is instead of new Arm Balance Challenge. To continue practicing Arm Balances, keep working on your weaknesses. Whatever we did so far that you’re having a hard time with, try to focus on this week and I will be posting a new thing to practice next Sunday.

Workout Breakdown

10 Minute Interval training – 40 seconds max effort and 20 seconds rest

  1. Squat jump forward / back burpee with Rockstar Jump
  2. Jump Lunge Kick up
  3. Curtsy Lunge Side Kick (alternating legs)
  4. Knee Tuck Push Up to Side Plank (alternating sides)
  5. Bicycle V-Ups (alternating sides)

    I was going to do a third round but then I remembered the butt homework. Did an extra 100 kettlebell swings last night so I was kinda sore! But a good Sunday workout. Can’t wait for tomorrow’s. This is officially the end of my 6th week doing this instead of running. I think I’m hooked!!

    Zuzka what an awesome workout today in Santa Monica!!! It was such an inspirational day and fantastic to meet you, Jesse, and Ashley. Thank you for taking the time to join me in the “challenge”. It was fun to meet so many woman at this event who took the time to be ACTIVE!!!

    Hi Zu…I took a day off today and just went for skating around 40 min. It was raining all day long here and in the afternoon we went out to meet a friend, no time to do the homework also but tomorrow I am back to the schedule. See u, take care

    This one looks fun!! But I was mountain biking and was too wiped for another workout. :-p I’ll tack this one on to one of the shorter workout days! 😀

    I did this today after the Lifted Butt #4 workout. I went through the circuit twice 50/10. Here are my scores

    1) 7, 7 2) 15,15 3) 18, 20 4) 11, 11 5) 12, 13

    It was super fun!!

    I swapped this one in place of the Wed beginner workout, making a few changes. 🙂

    First round I did a front kick with #2 and a side kick with #3, and for the second round I mixed things up and replaced the front kick with a rear hook kick and replaced the side kick with a roundhouse. Burned 160 calories on this one.

    Round 1: 1|8 2|18 3|11 4|10 5|12
    Round 2: 1|9 2|14 3|10 4|12 5|12
