Does anyone remember this workout? It’s so long ago, but maybe you have a record in your old exercise journal with your personal best. The beginning of 2012 was a very hard time for me, and it was reflecting on my workout performance and body composition. I got a little heavier because I was going through the type of stress that makes you want to eat more than exercise, and my mind was mostly just spinning. The workout itself was the only time when my mind became completely quiet. The feeling of relieve and serenity right after my training would carry me through at least a portion of the day and kept me sane. If you’re going through something difficult in your life right now, remember two things:
1. It’s going to be ok.
2. Your training will help you get through it, so push yourself even if you don’t feel like it.

Workout Breakdown
1. Santana Push Up to 180 Burpee x 10
2. Sumo Squat (x3) to Jump Tuck x 10
3. Crab toe touch x 30 alt.
4. Low Jacks x 20

My Old record from 2o12 was 2 rounds + #1, #2, and 10 Crab toe touches.
This time I completed 3 rounds and 4 sumo squats to jump tuck.

Miss zuzka light. I am 19 and have been keeping up with everything going on in the zgym ! I am so grateful for you you are one of my biggest and most amazing inspirations I’m the eldest of 7 children and because of you i have bettered myself since 2012 Iv been doing your workouts and now my siblings my parents my aunt n uncle and my lil cousins look up to me and my health and wellness and you helped me with all that i am so grateful thankyoy so much for pushing so hard and keeping us all up to date with all that goes on thank you again

ok!! i wanted to do twelve minutes but not too many repetitions, so i added 10/side of the plank ankle press-up to forward kicks, and also 10 plank-ups (the elbow to hand). then i was almost done with three rounds at 12 minutes, so i finished the third round, 12:41 😀
so happy! loved it, thanks, zuzka!! you rock!!!

I did this again today and beat my score by doing 3 rounds plus all of #1…
I didn’t beat your score again, Z, but I think it’s because I squatted very low all throughout. I also stayed lower during the jump jacks, and with every push up, I make sure my nose touches the ground….

Yay, ZWow 9! This is one of the first Zuzka workouts I ever did; I picked this one because it seemed like something I could do at the time. I was going through a much tougher time when I did it before…and I am much stronger in many ways now. 🙂 Zuzka is right: it WILL be okay & working out even when you don’t feel like it will help.
I looked up the old version to compare & I really enjoyed the updated version… Zuzka you’ve just gotten better; you look like you exude health and happiness so much more than the tough determination that shows in the old video. Thanks so much Zuzka & ZGym for your positivity. 🙂

I did 2 rounds and 5 sumo squat to jump tucks. That’s nearly one round better than my first try with this workout over a year ago.
Thanks Zuzka for posting the old ZWOWs again. It’s interesting to revisit them.

Just came back from 4 days of camping. Did this workout this morning and am going to do Fat Burn #4 this afternoon. Looked back through my old workout journal. I have ZWOW #8 and #10 recorded, but no #9 🙁
Today I did 3 rounds and all of the Santana burpees. In 2012 I could only do a few full push ups and them had to modify on my knees. This time through I did them all on my toes. Yeah 🙂
