Really nice workout, felt the same way : it was perfect and on point. Felt like we just started and then it was over 😅

Hi Zuzka, the Mountain Climbers/ Lunge Kick ups were so much fun! The Lunge heel lift / jump lunges with a pair of 15lb DBs were intense. Also, the Thigh lifts were a leg burner! It was an awesome wo! xoxo

Hey Zuzka. I really, really enjoy your daily workouts!! However, with this series I’m finding that you’re not putting the series to the name. You said that “This series is all about High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)” with two pieces of equipment – pair of dumbbells and power band. So how does doing thigh lifts & hip abductions play a role in “the high intensity” part? I had to replace these 2 excercises with Burpees & sumo squat jumps just to maintain my heart rate up. This workout was great a warm-up but it’s not a HIIT workout. Again, I really love your workouts but I’m noticing the Heartbreaker Body workout series are becoming more for beginners & not challenging for intermediate to advance. Thanks for understanding & I’m still a happy fan.

I feel the same about lack of expected intensity (and have previously provided that comment). It is great series, but does not stand to its name.
Recently I made an excellent heartbreaking HIIT and was not sure I could make it to 12 min even. …but you need material. 12x 30″/30″ of 1)battle rope 2) kickboxing/boxing 3) KB combo with burpee or any other bodyweight exercise.
It is so good to be able to go all out on the kicks on a real bag and do battle rope slams. I was wiped out.

Hi Laila! Thanks for feeling the same way. I love Zuzka’s workouts but I need more intensity & challenge. Omg!! Your workout sounds excellent. I love it. That’s what I’m looking for. If you almost didn’t make it to 12 mins, I’d probably drop at 10 mins. 😂I’m going to try it. Maybe you can do a video workout for us high intensity nuts. 😉 Thanks again for reaching out. Have a great day! Alina

I think I figured out what style makes it possible to go all out. From my experience if you can find something that gives freedom to give the needed intensity without having to match up the breath, you can ramp up or down the intensity.
For certain body combo, you need to be paced and synchronized with breath to keep proper abdominal pressure at right moment. If you don’t breathe ( anaerobe move) you can only maintain 10 sec or so of max effort. (e.g. sprinting).
I find that battle rope is a flexible enough option to switch from aerobic to anaerobic portions at any time and do little waves up to massive slams. Same goes with boxing. I am still trying to figure out a similar bodyweight move that allows this (outside of sprinting/running/jogging).
I’ll try to shoot a vid and post on IG

Bodyweight is difficult for getting the same high heart rate intensity. I do a lot of running, mainly hills and I noticed that when I lift weights, I have to do multiple reps of squats to get that intensity. Let me know when you post your video. I’ll be there to give 2 thumbs up! : )

Your workout sounds awesome! I love using new pieces of equipment. However, I notice that anytime Zuzka introduces a new piece of equipment there is a lot of complaining. She hasn’t done another Terra Core workout. 🙁

Agreed! Definitely a warm up type of workout but I did enjoy it. I do miss the intense HIIT workouts!

Hey Marrissa…yes. I need to feel my heart pumping in my throat if not I feel like I didn’t accomplish a great workout. If I want a low impact workout, I would workout with my mother and that isn’t going to happen anytime soon. So happy I’m not alone. Have a great & fun day.

I am the same. i love heart pumping body sculpting workouts. i have been doing another program that is getting me there and adding some of zuzka’s upperbody or lower body routines as my bonus if needed lately. I don’t know, maybe she will add an advance series if there are enough clients to make it worth her while or at least a section to help those organzie their routines for advanced. i know i need more than 12 min.

Hi Tracey! I really hope she comes back with an advanced workout series. Yes, 12 minutes is for beginners and I’m like you, I need more “bonus burn-out minutes. I also add a series to my other challenging workout just to give me extra sweat. That’s a great idea that you have by placing a section for advanced routines. I noticed that someone mentioned that Zuzka needs to cut down on the instructional/coaching part of the routine and I totally agree. By now, her members know that posture is important and how to how certain body need to be aligned. All the routines are the same just scrambled. Glad to see we all feel the same. Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Alina

Okay, the band this time did not roll up. That is the most annoying thing ever. This was a great workout!
