This series is all about High Intensity Interval Training with two pieces of equipment - pair of dumbbells and power band.  I use 12lb dumbbells which is a good enough challenge for me, but remember that we're all individuals so you'll each have to choose the right weights for you. If 12lb dumbbells feel like it's too much for you, use a lighter pair. If you need a bigger challenger, use heavier dumbbells. When it comes to the power band, I suggest you always use the heaviest one. They usually come in a pack of 3 or more.     Absolutely LOVED this workout! I gotta get a stronger band, but I used 25lb kettlebell, and I felt like I could keep on going and going, although it was still challenging. Maybe it’s because of the bean soup haha 😉 Would love to see more workouts like this, Zuzka.

    This was way more difficult than I expected. And SO PERFECT. I actually wanted you to make a more band-based workout series, Zuzka! I like the combination of dumbells with band–some resistance and weight. My band is 80 lbs of resistance, and I used 15 lbs barbells. For someone of my size and weight (I’m petite), I would not use that much weight again next time. 12 lbs should be enough, especially for #4!! It was such a killer workout that I found myself dying during some of the exercises before the 45 second mark…


    My butt was so sore all day yesterday after this workout….
