I really had to push through my muscles hard to do this one! Need to stretch out now. I stayed with the simpler jump rope techniques. I am getting better but I have to wear a sweater so I don’t get beat with the rope. lol!

I marked this as a favorite, but only because it was so brutal and I am motivated to improve for next time. Need to practice my jump roping!

This was perfect for this morning. Absolutely perfect cardio and core work. Love love love love. I finished in a bit under 17 minutes and followed with the 20 KB Swings/20 Jump lunges x4 bonus. That was killer! Full body gloriousness. It set my day right for a full day. Thank you Z!

AND I LOVE YOUR BONUSES!!!! Thank you for making those!

    Hi Zgym members,
I am reaching out to the community because I know Zuzka doesn’t have time to respond to every comment, although she is certainly welcome to if she comes across this post 😉 . I am in desperate need of some advice on nutritional/exercise balance for losing those last few lbs. I have been feeling very lost and down about how I haven’t been able to achieve my goals lately and because of this have been adding in more cardio exercise on top of Zu’s workouts (currently I follow a 5 day a week Z schedule with cardio every one of those days, leaving out the weekend workouts most times) but I’m still not seeing any results and just feel exhausted a lot. I know this is logically an incorrect approach to fat loss from all of Z’s tips and articles, but it’s so hard to turn that switch off in my head when I want the change so badly. I know many of you have struggled in the same way, maybe in the past, or even at this very moment. I’m tired of feeling sad and want to reach my happy place in a healthy and sustainable way so I don’t miss out on the great things in life like I have been! I know that the strength of this community is a great place to turn to keep me going and I would appreciate any advice more than you would ever know 🙂 .

I know how you feel, because I do the same. I don´t have any good advice. I think we have to be patient a look after what we are eating. I´m following these workouts nearly everyday, if I have to skip, then the Stretch and Tone Workouts. I try not to think too much about it, because this causes stress in my Body, which is not very helpful for loosing weight, but it´s really really hard. So maybe it helps you to know, that you are not alone 🙂

I don´t have DQ but I broke three vertebras. My sister has Diabetes Typ 1 and last year she get really sick with something rheumatic we guess, nobody knows what exactly that was, she was staying 5 weeks in the university hospital. But with going to Dr. Styers she feels now better than all the years before.

Hi Katie, sounds like you are over doing it. Feeling exhausted is not good for your health and fat loss goals. Based on what you have said, I would recommend cutting back on time spent exercising and really focus on diet. So many people do not realize that diet is the key to a lean body. Eat quality, nutrient dense food and make sure to not under eat or your metabolism will suffer and be counter productive. to your goals. You will figure it out, stay positive and best wishes. 🙂

        Cari,
Thank you so very much for the advice 🙂 I definitely feel like I must be under eating because my metabolism is at a snail pace all of a sudden which is very frustrating. If you had to give an example of 1 day of nutrient dense foods (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack) or whatever you have been following, what would it look like? Also, any additional words on cutting back on exercise or your methods? I hope I am not asking too much of you, but always welcome thoughts and ideas to try to keep positive 😉

          Hi Katie,
I`ve just come across your comment and thought that you would be interested in hearing about Dr. Eric Berg (if you didn`t know him yet).
He has really great videos in youtube for self-educating purposes regarding your issue as well. Seek out: “How to lose that last 10 pounds-must watch!”.
I wouldn`t write down his words, it`s better to hear them. All I would suggest you to watch his video, start exploring his video library, applying his advice if you symphatize with him, then start observing and monitoring the reaction of your own body and try not to compare it with others, start listening to it and don`t let your ego to overcome the needs of your body, be patient to yourself and finally stay positive, never give up because I`m sure, you will get there where you wish to be! 😉

tried my new ROPEless jump-“rope”. Basically 2 handles with an inch cord ended by little weights (to keep the momentum and sensation of jump rope.)
    There are pros and cons:
-can’t go fast, not as fast as real rope
-makes you realize how both wrists/hands may actually not work symmetrically
-good conditioning for wrists and forearm (but therefore also get sore more quickly and need to stop)
-obviously avoids tripping on the rope and gets you going
-gets you to practice proper jumprope posture
-don’t get whipped, can practice barefoot
I used it in my bedroom where ceiling is low and furniture very close.

    anyone else tried?

Awesome workout! Love these jump rope slide workouts!

Just wondering what’s up with the favorite workout page, I only see a few of my favorites and the rest went missing?
