Jump Rope Cardio Kettlebell X #5

 | 126 Comments | Jump Rope Cardio Kettlebell X

Simplifying a workout doesn't always mean making it easy. You can actually get a lot more out of your training if you stick to simple exercises that you're already very familiar with. That way your mind won't be distracted by thinking too much about the movements because it's already a second nature to you. All you have to think about is how fast you're going and how hard you're pushing yourself.

Did this after Upper Body inferno #1. Did 12 min or 2 rounds of part 1 before doing the combo then repeated part 1 with Zuzka. Loved it. Did Snatch to swing Alt instead of side to side swing. Used 55lb KB for 2 hand swing and 25lb for rest. Next time will wear 6lb vest. Great workout. Now going back to the stretch and cool down from inferno #1

warm up KS backbend yoga. I did 1 minute intervals with 10 sec. rest which made the cardio segments 7 minutes each. I liked the combo alot. Used 35lb for regular swings, 30 lb for one arm swing and 25lb for snatch to over head press (did this instead of side to side swing.) practiced handstand holds which i filmed and will put on my instagram and did 5 min. of assisted pull up practice with different grips. Off to do Stretch ad tone 34

This was great, I ended up taking my equipment outside to my pool area and doing it there. It’s 28 degrees outside and I have snow covering half of it but i went in the sun in the other half and I’ve gotta say it was great doing it out there, better when the weather gets a bit warmer😎. I am officially soar but I will do a few handstands today and pull up and chin up practice.

    Thank You!!!

Applause! I don’t know how you worked out outside in North East today. I started out my workout in my New York apartment with the heat on 🙂

wow, this was so great! Thank you, as always Zuzka, for bringing back older workouts. I used my 45 lbs KB and did pendulums for #4. It was SO TOUGH for the side to side swings! Definitely worked my entire body to maintain proper posture while completing the movement. I used my 25 lbs KB for the combo. This workout was totally effective and got my heart pumping like crazy!

I did this after an hours stand up paddle board session this morning. Finished in 16:40. I feel I need a heavier bell for some exercises now. My 12kg is too light but 20kg to heavy. Shopping time 🙂
