    Hi zuzka, I worked this one without yoga block, haa because I don’t have one. Just some problems with the split otherwise I enjoyed the workout.

    Hey Z, what are your thoughts on intermittent fasting?

    Nice one! I’m Making huge improvements. In fact last week I struggled with pull ups with the assistant band. Today I did 2 in a row from dead hang and no band!!! I’ve been working hard to get back to my pre preg strength and ready to get even stronger this summerπŸ’ͺ🏼

      Intermittent fasting is great for us. It’s healthy, it’s a great detox and I believe it should be done on a regular basis.

        Hey Zuzana, I fast twice a year. Fall into winter and winter into spring. This week I am fasting, only to cleanse myself. I have a relatively healthy diet without sugar. I’ve been doing that for over thirty years or more, since the middle of the eighties. It makes a difference, especially the diet without sugar. I would appreciate some tips or information on how you fast, how long etc… Todays stretch and tone left me feeling very agile and loose. Thank you so much Zuzana!

          Hi Arnold, I’ve been working on my Fat Loss Meal Plan for the past several months which is going to include fast days. I found that my body responds well to moderate fast days couple times a week instead of doing a full fast, which is hard to sustain. On my moderate fast days I stick to small snacks of not more than 500cal total.

            I can’t believe it! You actually wrote to little ole me. I’m thrilled. I will have to think a while about this fasting topic and consolidate what I actually want to say, because I think that you have a thousand and one comments to read and I want to get to the point. But I will say that all of my friends, if you ask them about me and what traits do I have they would eventually say he loves to eat and in great quantities. That I do so fasting is good for me and something that I want to get over with asap sometimes. I will send you a more thoughtful reply soon, about fasting. Say hello to Scott for me.     that split is not happening… lol. I am gonna need a much higher yoga block to even be able to get in an upright upper body position. any stretches that I can do to help my front split? (not that i can do any kind of split)

      PowerYoga #43- Stretching for Side Splits helped me a lot with front splits. I think I did it a few times a week to start then incorporated some of the stretches into my regular cooldown & stretching.

    Loved this one but does anyone else find it hard where you hand bends? Any recommendations to strengthen them as I struggle on balance positions that require the same pressing through the hand?

    Hi I just started this program this week and so far have enjoyed it. I was just wondering, does Zuzka ever comment on these post. The only reason I ask is because I had been doing the Fitplan and the trainers in those programs would communicate with you and encourage you and even give you tips on nutrition and just about anything.

My main focus is to have the answers you might be looking for in form of informational articles and I do my best to encourage my ZGYM members via posts.     I did a short KB workout followed by this one. I was getting super frustrated on the splits though. I can’t go all the way down. Even with support from my yoga blocks my back knee hurts so bad resting on my hardwood floor. :-/ I just did my best and moved on πŸ™‚

      Hi Tanya, I bought a “RatPad” which is a little oval-shaped cushion made for use during yoga workouts. I found it at a Marshall’s for like $9 but I’m sure you can find them on Amazon too. It helps sooo much! My knee would always hurt when trying to do hip flexor stretch and the cushion helps completely.

      I second the knee mat suggestion! I just bought a “SukhaMat” on Amazon & it is great– there are a number of different brands available on Amazon. πŸ™‚
