SummerShred_16_post

I just finished this workout. What year is it? I watched the time on my phone in panic when I was about half way through the last part. It took me so long to complete it and boy did I have thoughts in my head telling me to give up or do easier modifications to make it easier for myself. Of course! I feel the same way as you. I too feel like I'm about to wuss out or vomit. Luckily I have a split personality so I also hear the voice of the hero. The hero won the battle today and I hope you guys will connect with your hero too, because you're going to need... [more]

That one was incredibly hard. First time doing this one since I’m behind on the SSS, but my goodness I didn’t think I was going to make it. I felt my bulletproof coffee sloshing in my stomach with the the reverse burpees, and I felt like the end was near. You helped so much by giving the motivation of the military. That really helped me pull up my big girl panties and get it done. Love you Z!

Beat my score by 1 second, and did higher reps for KBS.

Guys, I just did this workout entirely with my 40lb KB. I’m not that crazy – for the reverse burpees I didn’t jump and I left it at my feet for the situps but still. I figured it would be an extra challenge and I wouldn’t have to lug both the KB and DB accross the street to the park for my workout. I had to put the KB down about 10 times on my walk home…. zero strength remaining. I think I earned my feast for our Olympics opening ceremony party tonight xo

The heaviest weight I had here was 25lbs. Loved this workout was sweating BULLETS! I’m not a big ‘sweat-er’ and i usually do weight training but man o man, this was tough and I was drenched. Thank you 😀

whew! Forgot what a beast this workout was, had I looked at the breakdown I might have skipped on to SS17x 🙂 Glad to get through it though, did AI #2 yesterday so this one was especially hard with tired arms! At round 2 of the divebombers I thought I was not going to make it to round 5, feels so good to be done… definitely willpower was the hardest exercise in this workout!

The third part was BRUTAL! I am so sore now, haha. But there is nothing better than the feeling after an intense workout. Thank you, Z, for kicking my butt. 🙂
