If you guys are doing my workouts daily, you have probably noticed that I have been wearing shoes less and less for my training. It is way healthier to walk and exercise barefooted so if you’ve been wondering what type of athletic sneakers would be best for you - the answer is none. I only make exception for rope jumping because it really hurts if you smack your bare foot with a thin, hard cable, that’s spinning at a really high speed.

A lot of people are afraid to jump without having their shoes on. It’s really nothing extreme. It doesn’t hurt especially if you’re jumping on your exercise mat. You can try it and see for yourself. The key is to always land softly on the balls of your... [more]

I especially do the jump roping barefeet because it teaches you to concentrate to not hurt your feet! (Boy I had many many red lines on them when I started…;) )

I was trying that yesterday but I feel like because I’m barefeet I am afraid to jump rope higher. I got blisters on my toes😓 and ended up with bandaids lol. I’m still going to try it today though because the kettle bell exercises feel so good barefoot and I don’t want to have to take off my shoes and put them back on between exercises. What do you think?

Oi Naimah, I feel those (teaching) blisters with you! Maybe you should wear shoes until they´re fully healed and then try again ? But after some time it works! I never fail with the rope now 😉 And I definitely am too lazy to put my shoes on and off during the workout 😉

Hey there Evo! I’m glad to know I’m not the only one trying this barefeet. I actually did this one today again to practice my barefeet jump-rope skills and I actually improved today! No hurting blisters! I am also getting used to barefeet box over jumps and I did pretty good too day with that as well! My goal is to do strengthen my feet overall so I can do all workouts barefooted. Working out barefoot has really improved my form and I feel the burn more in my lower body muscles. Hope to hear more from you!

Intense workout! Even though I have a pull up bar I prefer to use the sliders for the leg raises. I feel it more. Also I opted for the high knees barefoot but t without the skipping rope and just did the motion. I liked that much better was focusing less on not hurting myself and more on jumping higher and faster. I’m dripping sweat while I write this. Loved it!!!!

This felt great Zuzka! I’m back from our vacation. My friend from Arizona and I did your Monday wo together which was so fun working out with her (and you!)! We hiked Camelback Mt. the next day and took the following day off. My lower back was bothering me after the hike so it feels good to be home and back to my regular wo routine. It was nice to change things up and follow my friend’s wo schedule for a few days too. I love feeling strong enough (thanks to you!) to travel and be flexible to do whatever we want for wo’s! Happy Day!

WOW I can’t believe you hiked camelback in this heat!!! You are brave! I live right by camelback and its beautiful view and climb, I’m glad you got to come down and visit Arizona!

Hi Erica! I love the heat & only get a short summer in Oregon where I live. That is great you live so close to the mountain and have the chance to climb anytime. I wish I had more time in AZ. So many great mountains there! Can’t wait to come back. Maybe October. Definately a bit cooler for hikes haha!

The intensity of this workout is amazing. Summer Shreds really pushes my limits every time. I am sweating like there’s no tomorrow and I feel great 😅 Thanks for all your workouts, they are awesome!

This time I did double unders instead of high knees (10 with 2 single between and then then rest with one single jump in between), and I did jumping side lunges instead of sliding as my kitchen floor tiles make the sliders stick. I did single Spilt squats with dumbells instead of pulsing, but did them slowly. I also ran up and down my stairs between pull ups and box jumps, had to race to keep up with z! An X for me.

I’m so excited 😆…. Zgym definitely is what I needed… I was so bored of my workouts routine… also not having any changes for a long time… can’t wait to see my improvement… ✌🏻️💪🏻🤗
