Even though this series is for beginners, with a few simple modifications I was able to transform it into a workout that was challenging for my level of fitness. Did pull ups without the assist band (I assist myself by slightly jumping off the floor), traded kneeling push ups for dynamic push ups and one leg push ups, and added a DB row to the bird dog exercise (got the idea from Cardio Shred #38). That’s the great thing about being a member here. After 8 months of working out in the ZGYM, I have a wide variety of exercises to substitute whenever I want. Thanks Z!

yep! it’s a blast having seen and practiced so many moves from all her years of doing these routines, that when you run into a “nuh-uh” with something, clever, alternate moves keep the momentum going.

1 full round + 3 reps of #2. Did all push-ups on my toes. Instead of Assisted Pull-ups I did TRX Deep Rows from a horizontal position. Next time I will do TRX Level 1 Pull-ups. Warm-up: 25 ISO push-ups (10 toes, 15 knees), 40 Front Lunges with 2 15lb KBs racked, 40 Side Skiers, 20 Ab Bicycles. Followed this workout with a bonus: 💯 KB Swings (x30 with 30lb KB, x20 with 45lb KB – 2 sets). Now that I know the difficulty level of this workout I can really push it next time.
