Double Unders

  • Grab the jump rope handles in each hand keeping your elbows close to your body.
  • Make sure you’re keeping your shoulders back and down, chest up and all of the motion goes from your wrist to swing the rope.
  • Do the basic bounce with your feet together 3 times and then swing the rope harder and jump higher to do the double under.
  • This exercise requires a lot of practice so don’t get discouraged. I suggest you practice the skill outside of our workouts so that you don’t get frustrated during the workout.
  • You can do this exercise without the jump rope. Just pretend you’re jumping the rope and go as fast as you can.
