Hi Zuzka! I’m following you for a while and do all your workouts. I will not lie that pistols squats are my weak part and now this reverse burpee is just impossible for me even without weights. I always need to help myself with hands to stand up. It really upsets me. Any advice to improve my form or easy variations that will help me? Thanks a lot!

I have this same problem. I came to the exercise library in hopes of getting some pointers. Have you had any luck in mastering reversed burpees yet?

Hi Mary! I do have a progress but every other time use my hands to help myself. I think it could be a problem in flexibility. I tell myself all the time :”Don’t give up and keep doing it” ))) Good luck!

Oh gosh! I’m notoriously inflexible too! One day though I will be able to do reverse burpees…that and pistol squats. Two bucket list items!

Hi! Have you had progress with these? I find it much much easier with weights because they help me balance in order to get on my feet :D.

I know! I am much better with the pistol squats. I still should hold for smth but hey I couldn’t do it at all!
Like Zuzka says the consistency is the key. Thanks for sharing with your thoughts. 🙂

Hi Z Community!
I also cannot (YET!) do the reversed burpee without using my hand on the ground for assistance.
However, the more I practice the better I get.
I try to really focus on my core muscles that are being activated with the movement. Then use the least amount on pressure on my hand as possible, only enough to get me up. It has been working well. Step by step! Hope this helps.
