Ginger Scrambled Eggs Recipe. (FM)

Recipes | April 11, 2013

Hi guys,

I am happy to share with you one of my favorite recipes for scrambled eggs. Anyone who thinks that scrambled eggs are just a boring dish, has never tried my Ginger Scrambled Eggs. I made a video especially for you so that you see how it’s done πŸ™‚

One of the main ingredient in this recipe is fresh Ginger, which is known to be a natural remedy for things like cold, flu, nausea, migraine, menstrual cramp, or even motion sickness. Ginger is also acting as a natural pain reliever, that has anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols, which is also good to know for all of you guys who experience any post exercise muscle soreness. Next time you have sore muscles after one of my workouts, make yourself a tea out of fresh ginger!

Ginger is very aromatic and spicy which gives the scrambled eggs a very exotic and fresh flavor, that mixes very well with the green jalapeno.

Green chili peppers or JalapeΓ±os, are a great source of vitamin C, minerals, and anti-oxidants. They can also help you with weight loss, because their heat can raise your core body temperature and lead to increased metabolic rate. It’s nice to spice things up sometimes πŸ™‚

Fresh herbs like thyme, basil, oregano, or cilantro are highly recommended for this dish. Normally I prefer fresh cilantro above all the others, but I realized that I don’t have one yet in my private little organic garden which is something that I need to fix very soon.

If you don’t have your own fresh herb garden yet, get it. I am serious. You life will be so much better. Buying herbs at store gets quite expensive and usually you have to buy a whole batch that can go eventually bad in your fridge, then you have to throw it out, which makes you sad or mad… It’s just not worth it. Growing your own herbs is cheaper, more convenient and if you are anything like me, it will become your pride and joy.

I hope that you guys will enjoy this recipe, I am bummed that it took me again 5 hours to upload the video and finally I got fed up and walked to Starbucks where is apparently better internet connection than in my apartment. So I am sitting at Starbucks, uploading video, and thinking of our Workout Plan. I did my Yoga workout from my new Zcut Power Yoga DVD, tomorrow I will do the new ZWOW #64 that focuses on Glutes and Hams, Saturday is my cardio day so I will do Workout #1 from my Zcut Power Cardio DVD, and Sunday is another Yoga day and I will do the second workout on the DVD.

I will post my workout schedule for the next week on Sunday and you are more than welcomed to follow along, because I have zero doubt that you will see 100 percent improvement with my Workout Plan. We will be consistent, and we will combine all of the great stuff like Yoga, cardio, and strength training. Get into the daily habit of doing your workouts, they are so short that you can find the time to do them. I will be very proud of you, so please stay with it!
Best,
Z.

I had this for lunch today with 1 egg/1 egg white. I have had a herb garden for many years. It is essential to a chef. I had mine with left over roasted cauliflower salad with goat cheese and cashews (another of your recipes) and sliced mini marzano tomatoes. It was great! Keep up the good work. Love your workouts. I have been doing them for over a year and a half now. My husband says they have reshaped my body, especially my rear end. Got the ski slope going on YAY for me. Will be doing one of the zcut workouts from DVD this afternoon. Love it! So glad you are doing this. DebR, Houston TX

Wow…3 for 3! This is the third recipe of yours I’ve tried and you seriously knocked it out of the park. Even my husband was incredibly impressed and he’s super picky. I would’ve never thought to add ginger or any of the other ingredients to scrambled eggs. It was delicious!! Because of you I went out and bought 6 different herbs for my “garden” : oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, parsley and cilantro. Thank you!! πŸ™‚

    ZUZKA,
What kind of cardio do you do? Do you mix it up with sprints one day and hike or run another? How long is your cardio usually after you do a zwow? By the way- I love your new yoga cd!
