Spiced Carrot Cake Smoothie (WEM)

*Makes 1 Portion

Ingredients:
2/3 cup almond milk
1/2 cup vanilla greek yogurt
1 cup of chopped carrots
1 banana
1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
ground ginger and nutmeg, sprinkle of both (add more for even more flavor)

(You can also add a scoop of your favorite vanilla protein powder. After all, this is a post workout smoothie!)

Instructions:

  1. Just add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Macros (does not include protein powder; will differ depending on what kind you choose to use):
Calories: 320.9
Carbs: 63.3 g
Net Carbs: 55.9 g
Fat: 2.6 g
Protein: 15.1 g

    What makes this WEM? Syrup and the banana?
    I workout in the morning, so this looks like a good breakfast to try 🙂

      Probably those and all the carrots. Carrots are a very high carb vegetable.

    I’m not Zuzka, but yes,syrup and banana. It looks yummy😊 i like this ern your carbs diet😊 it keeps me motivated to working out and i dont have to be so strict with eating. And when i count callories i can even eat chocolate when i really want to😁

    Hi Zuzka,

    Love the food journal and all the info you are providing. You stated that you take a pre-workout drink with fat burner. Can you share the brand you use please. I am always afraid of using fat burners and I figured since you are so health conscious you would use a safe one.
