Tuna_steak_with_cilantro_avocado

Ingredients:
1 tuna steak
1/2 cup cilantro
1/2 jalapeno, remove seeds and slice thin
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
1 garlic clove
2 limes, juiced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 pinch sugar (if you want sugar free option you can use erythritol)
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 avocado, cubed
salt & pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium sized bowl mix together the cilantro, jalapeño, ginger, garlic, lime juice, soy sauce, sugar and 2 tablespoons of the olive oil.  Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.  Make sure all ingredients are mixed together well.
  2. In a pan over medium high heat, add the remaining olive oil.  Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper then pan sear the tuna for 1 minutes on each side until it has a little crust on it.
  3. Pour half the cilantro mix into the pan to coat the tuna and let cook an additional minute.
  4. Plate the seared tuna steak on a plate.  Drain the excess liquid from the remaining half of the cilantro mix then spoon the rest over the tuna and enjoy!

    Zuzka,

Quick question. Since I pretty much always do my workouts in the morning, I can only have my WEM meals for breakfast and then stay FM the rest of the day. However, currently for the FM meals I have been doing 2 cuppped hands veggies (often a mixture of vegetables & leafy greens), 1 protein portion, and 1 healthy fat (thumb sized nuts on top of it for example). My question is, I still get pretty hungry usually 2-3 hours later. Am I eating enough food? Or should I be adding in more veggies? I don’t add starches since you mentioned leaving those out most of the time. Any advice would be awesome! Thanks and have a great evening 🙂

P.S. Loving all the unique and delicious meal ideas! I hope to try some each week 🙂
