Chocolate Berry Super Shake (FM)

*This delicious and rich chocolate smoothie is low in carbs, and sugar free
**Makes 1 portion

Ingredients
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tbsp Swerve (powdered erythritol)
15 g (1/2 scoop) ย Paleo Pro Protein Powder – Ancient Cacao
3ย tbsp whip cream (home made)
2 inch square home made frozen chocolate bar

Whipped Cream

Pour about 1/2 cup of organic heavy cream into a high performance blender (I use my Vitamix blender but Nutri bullet, Magic bullet or Ninja should work as well) and blend on high until the cream thickens and become fluffy. 1 tbsp is only about 8 calories.

Instructions

  1. Add the frozen berries, almond milk, cocoa powder, protein powder and erythritol into a blender and blend on high speed until smooth. Mixture should be on a thicker side.
  2. Pour into a Ball or Mason jar, mix with one tbsp of whipped cream and top with the remaining 3 tbsp whip cream. Arrange pieces of chocolate bar on top of the whip cream. Serve right away.

Macros (not including the homemade frozen chocolate bar; macros may vary depending on the type of protein powder you end up using):
Calories: 402.9
Carbs: 36.4 g
Net Carbs: 23.8 g
Fat: 19.2 g
Protein: 31.8 g

    Is is so sad that you use ingredients that are not easily avaliable here in Argentina, and if you find any, they are sooooo expensive. So most of your recipies have to be modified by me. ๐Ÿ™

        Zuzka sorry it’s not related to the smoothie but I didn’t know where to ask this question. What do you think about eating millet or lentils are they WEM? Do you eat them?

    Something I’ve just found in some frosting experiments lately, using a little marshmallow creme and whipped butter to add some creamy yumminess, but mainly erythritol, a little Truvia and/or Splenda, is that it’s like eating air. I mean, full-sugar and buttercream cake frosting (yeah, I love it…by itself…) in a 1/2-3/4 cup serving would fill me up..actually bloat some for a little while. This erythritol stuff is AMAZING for frostings, but it does NOT fill…so I feel like I keep wanting more. I use some protein powder, too. Do you feel like these great looking desserts with less fat, carbs & calories with mostly erythritol, or Swerve that you use, do that to you, too?

    Made this, except I used my own kind of protein powder, and used erythritol as the sweetener. It was sooooo good.

    Hi Z. I would be very very happy If you answer me:)
    Its again about low carb diet-I know you must be bored, still questions what you eat. But I am a nutritionist and what happened me last few months that I got three women which train as you and eat as you but those girls have family,work manual..they started to follow low carb diet(which I like, I did many times too) but what happened them was that they started to have horrible cravings,they were crying almost every day and scared of every carbs. So they were completely burned! I dont want to tell you its your mistake-NOT AT ALL!! I just want to ask you If you please CAN MAKE SOME VIDEO-WHERE DO YOU SPEAK EXACTLY ABOUT YOUR LOW CARB DIET. I am pretty sure that you dont use your thumb for measure the fat-becasue you prob eat more than 100g of fat per a day to be positive,not nervous and still lean. Lots of those girls thought ..wow I will eat whatever I want from good fats and I will be lean as Z! Still its about income-outcome. So they gained weight -1)they didnt eat carbs at all and If they ate them after workout,they had very little portion because they were so afraid of it. 2) they ate a lof of fats. So please can you tell those girls which are struggling with it about how much carbs(just approximetly)and fat(even the flour,nuts,olive oil,coconut oil,salmons..)do you eat and how did you know you have enough of fat and carbs? mean the measurement..THANK YOU VERY MUCH XXX
