Being aware of your body language and what you’re feeling is key. I still go to a gym, I like to take yoga there. The locker rooms are on one side of the gym, yoga room on the opposite side. I have to walk across the weight room floor to get from one to the other. Gyms can be very intimidating. It took a long time before I realized I was hunching over, head down, walking fast, very tense when walking across the gym. Once I became aware, I started making a conscious effort to lift my head, keep my shoulders back, walk slower, and relax the muscles in my face (no one looks good with resting b**** face). It’s made a big difference. I look around as I cross the gym and don’t see reason to be intimidated anymore. People are there focused on themselves, or if they see me looking around they might smile and nod. It’s given me a new outlook and now I don’t need to force myself to relax and look calm.

From the home page of Zgym (“go to zgym”) you can find a link text “Weekly Challenge archive” . It is located under the pictures of the Weekly schedule and the text is quite small.

Hi Zuzka, just I want to share a doubt that I have for longer time but I was very shy to ask you. Now I take the courage and I think maybe my question is good others that are feeling like me. Ok this my case I was following you for a long time since you started in you tube and always I felt great I have been doing your workouts in the gym in the parks or at home. Now I’m a nomadic traveller so sometimes I stay long in a place maybe more than three months and sometimes like now I’m moving all the time with my backpack ( is all my home) so I cannot have access to some equipment like ktb or dumbbells. I don’t want to lose muscle and I’m wondering if is possible follow the schedule and have a hard workout even if I don’t have the specific equipment. Also I always carry on a jump rope and elastics bands.
Before to say good bay I want to say you are an awesome person so professional and a big inspiration for everyone. Thanks so much for share your time with us!!!

Hi, no need to be shy 🙂 you can totally have a very intense and effective workout with just your own bodyweight. Now we have a great search engine in the ZGYM homepage that allows you to search workouts based on your fitness level and equipment. Also remember, that I have a lot of intermediate and advanced workouts with just your own bodyweight that can totally kick your butt 🙂

I started to feel more elegant and more confident when I started to do the bracing sequence as often as I think of it during the day. It’s so powerful!!

Hi Zuzka, so absolutely true all your thoughts and suggestions. I have an example from my job. My colleague is in her early 60ties, she is heavily overweight, however she walks to a meeting room and she is treated with such a respect because she carries herself as Top Model. Everything on her is perfect, way she talks, greets, dresses up with such confidence and everyone loves her. Her weight is not an issue and no one has guts to judge her for her weight and see only positive on her. Another example are athletes. My 11 year old is being coached same thing, she plays tennis competitively is in top 10 in Canada and she must practice in front of her mirror her behaviour on the court so Her opponent gets a message who is in power there, simple mental game but so powerful.
