Uhhh…kind of felt as if I had accidentally walked into the women’s restroom in a restaurant when this video started…;)
I’m sure we’ll get back to guy stuff on the next one.

This was a good talk. I agree that it needs to be ok to talk about periods and feminine hygiene since it is something all women live with. Thank you also for talking about bio-individuality. It is something I would have never thought about in the nutritional context if you never brought it up. I am also very thankful for the zgym. I have been following you since your bodyrock days, but have been hesitant to pay a subscription for the zgym. I finally gave in recently because I decided enough was enough, and your workouts are really the only ones I will follow anymore. I will be 30 this fall and I am ready to make the rest of the healthy changes I have been slowly making. Thank you for providing this service to us!!
One last thing I want to mention, is that I am sad you pick accounts that are not private. I know it is so much more fun, for obvious reasons, to look at un-private accounts. But because of personal issues, I have had to get rid of most of my social media accounts. The only reason I even have an Instagram is because my personal reason, does not have one, yet. My account is set to private so he or his friends cannot access any information that they don’t need to know. But since it is private, I will likely not win any giveaways =( I guess this is something else I will deal with, but I just wanted to throw that out there, please don’t forget about the private accounts.
Thank you for all that you do for yourself and for the world! You are making a difference in my life and in the life of my daughter. I am so glad that she has such a wonderful public role model.

Great coffee talk! I’m so glad that the attitude towards periods and feminine hygiene is slowly becoming more relaxed. It’s so silly that we (myself included) feel embarrassed to talk about something that is completely natural and a part of life which affects half of the human race at some point in their lives!

I’ve stopped for a really long time but I’m back and I can’t wait to learn all over again from you!

Great talk Z. It’s funny you were talking about low energy. I am in the middle of studying for finals and all this seating and studying is sucking up all my energy, but I just did the summer shred #6 and I’m ready for another studying session:)
As far as food goes: I agree somewhat with the idea of bio-individuality. However, I think it is important to mention that there is one thing that works for everyone in terms of nutrition and that is eating whole foods, minimally processed, such as whole grains, whole fruits, and vegetables. Regardless of the diets we choose, be it low-carb, high-carb etc, it is important to eat clean and stay away from processed foods.

Zuzka,
Thank you for opening a pathway for discussion on women’s health.
Although my comment may be somewhat off topic, this was the posting I thought it would be most appropriate for.
I have been a member for only a few months and have really benefitted from the wealth of information you have shared with this community. I was already on the right track and following most of the same health and wellness advice you offer, so needless to say, I was so excited to discover your website.
I was only a few days away from completing the Cardio and Strength Starter program. I was feeling amazing and getting super toned when unexpectedly had to undergo a hysterectomy with pelvic floor repair. I am only four weeks post-op but dying to get back to my fitness routine.
I really enjoyed the kettle bell swings, squats, burpees, planks and lunges. I was seeing such a noticeable difference!
Unfortunately, all of these are no longer safe for me or women that have undergone this type of surgery as it may cause repeat damage to the pelvic floor. Pelvic floor damage / uterine prolapse is very common among women that have gone through childbirth so thought this post would be of interest to a lot of your followers.
I want desperately to remain a member but would love if you could offer advice or (pelvic floor safe) modified fitness and strength building exercises for women that have been afflicted with this problem since it is so very common.
Thank you for building such an amazing website.
Your strength and dedication is unmatched!

Hi, thank you for sharing this with me and ZGYM members. I will have to do some more research about this condition and see what type of exercises would be considered safe, and if I can offer a series that could target a larger group of people, maybe with different issues.

This would be brilliant. A ‘core and floor’ series for low intensity days! I followed MuTu system for a while after childbirth but found it very repetitive – I would have loved a Zgym version.

I’m playing catch-up on your coffee talks today, and I have to say this one is awesome. Across the board (can’t wait to try Cora products). Over the last 5 months, I have dropped 20 pounds and people are constantly asking me “How did you do it?” When I tell them I have finally found the lifestyle that works for ME and then walk them through my typical day, they look at me like I’ve lost it! “What do you mean you aren’t on a diet?” I have been following you for 5 years (I think since 2012) and it took me this long to find my balance with your workouts and my eating habits. So awesome to hear someone in your position talking about how “diets” aren’t one size fits all!
