Hi there! I really loved this coffee talk, to be honest I love all your coffee talk I could listen to them all day long :). Also, thanks for the great method, it proved to me that what I have been doing recently to practice my pull ups is just the best way to do it, I just need to ad more sets per day :).

It is hard to meet such people! Others don’t understand why i feel my workouts and training are do important to me to fit in. They roll their eyes, so i learned not to mention it. BUT, when they need the grease changed and all the heavy carrying and lifting, it is me they have do it. lol

The method works because you’re pushing your body with consistent effort while also giving it plenty of time to recover which turns into fast progress.

Great coffee talk Z. I listened to it just before bed on Thursday evening, and it put a smile on my face and helped me to wak up with motivation! Speaking of – could you do a coffee talk on how you get out of bed in the morning and get your day started?? I would like to know how someone as successful as you and who always truly puts working out and health first and is soooooo consistent stays this way day in and day out – like every day when you wake you you just “do this”. 🙂

Also – is a yoga wheel part of your equipment that you ever used to help get into handstands or postural therapy? If so, could you do a tutorial with it as well, maybe, please, sometime? 🙂

Thank you for the suggestion, I will add it to my list of things to talk about 🙂 Truthfully I got the yoga wheel because I was really curious about it and thought it might help with with handstands but I don’t like using it as much. I use it for only 2 things – handstand – which is not essential, because I can practice effectively even without it, and then back stretch which is also not essential – you can do it on the balance ball or just on the exercise mat with yoga moves.

Thank you so much, Zuzka! I look forward to your future coffee talk on motivation. 🙂 Thank you for the feedback on the yoga wheel!

And just another thing to add…..for those of us who put our spiritual lives right up there with our health and fitness lives….Z is right…the socks will always be there, that is, until the final day, and then those socks will not go to Heaven with us, but our hearts, minds, and souls will and our health and fitness journey goes hand in hand with developing and protecing our heart, mental, and emotional health just as our bodies. Okay, that’s my 2 to 5 cents worth. 🙂

I loved this coffee talk…I’ve been eagerly awaiting it ever since you gave us a little preview of what the topic would be!!! My hardest part: I have a number of moves I want to work on/perfect/get to, that it’s a dilemma of “where to start first” (I COULD do multiple at a time, but I want to make sure I follow through)! I’ve decided on tackling the pullups first — I can get a pullup in from a standing position, but not a dead hang. And I have to rest my feet in between each one. So a dead hang pullup is a definite goal! I’m thinking a mix of the assist band along with little boosters to stand on. And I love the idea of sharing the journey on instagram! I’m excited to get that one mastered…because the one in line next is one I’ve wanted to master for a LONG time: Bridge kickover (I can get to a bridge, but can’t kick back up)!

lol, my husband and I have role reversals when it comes to cleaning. I’m more of the mindset of “this can be picked up later and it’s not the end of the world: if chore B is more important, don’t stress about chore A… just come back to it”! My husband, on the other hand, is prone to getting under stress until everything’s in order.

That’s good, at least you’re balancing each other out 🙂

I will apply the method to pull-ups, though on days I am away from home, it will be hard to practice 4x a day in a nice staggered way. I could rather do 1 at wake -up, 1 right before getting to work (there is a trail with equipment and bar, but outdoors…rainy days won’t work) and reverse in the evening. I am not sure I have proper form with assist band though.

Hi Zuzka, For me, it was a good reminder! To focus on what is important and to try not get upset over little things. Also, if we’re happier, people around you will definitely benefit as well! Loved your coffee talk! Love ya xoxo

Yes…you may not pick up the socks today but you will surely pick up tomorrow…if I do not wash the dishes today, I will surely wash it tomorrow and what is the advantage of postponing the tasks for next day? Except if you have something really important or urgent to do, I dont believe postponing tasks is the solution but maybe waking up early, spending less time on facebook and IG, organizing your routine better doing a schedule setting up timings (hours) to do the things…this may help more than just postponing, after all you will be using your precious time on the next day to do that task left plus the tasks of the new day so the work will be more. Organization and priority are the keys! See you all and take care.

I agree with you on reducing time spent on time wasting activities Fernanda….. social media, unimportant emails and web browsing, television, any activity or interaction not related to your important priorities should be left for the end of the day if there is time left after you did all the important stuff. I also get up earlier to exercise nd get that done first thing. The later the day goes the more challenges arise with my business and I’m not sure I’ll have energy left by the evening.

Yes Michelle, I am also trying to wake up earlier (I get up by 6 am…and it is really hard to make it before 6 but let us see how it goes) but my point is that I cant exercise early morning…I am just not waken enough…but I need to try it for sometime to see if my body gets used to it…it would be really nice to finish everything earlier. Let us keep going. See you and take care.

Well said and great perspective…..I fall into the same habit of taking care of my “chores” and neglecting myself. Thank you for acknowledging what is important because so often we lose sight of that and focus on the menial things that don’t make us happy or provide quality time.
