My Boots From Shoedazzle
Blog | December 04, 2016
This was my first time shopping at Shoedazzle.com, an online store specializing in shoes. You can also buy tops, bottoms, dresses, jackets, the whole outfit, but shoes is what makes this company stand out. They have a large selection from pumps, to hiking boots and if you sign up for their V.I.P. membership, you can get a new pair every month for really cheap. I have signed up, because I want to start pampering myself with new styles, and outfits. Why? Because if anyone deserves to be pampered, it’s me π haha.
Here are the two pairs I got at Shoedazzle last week
I think I will be wearing these a lot. They’re comfortable to walk in and go well with any pair of jeans I have.
The faux fuzzy fur on the inside of these boots makes them warm, but it does take time to get use to the high heel. It’s a definitely big step for me – from sneakers to high heel boots.

Thanks, Zuz! I was going to ask this question, too…you look gorgeous, as always, and pull off the high heel with ease. π

You look amazing! I did also check that shop out and it seems a good idea for someone who is struggling to buy new shoes for herself, or anything new in fact, hehe π

I also decided to pamper myself, not only my feet but as a consequence my whole body. I am however straight to the opposite as I follow Katy Bowman’s recommendations, including SPORT shoes! :
-flat (0 drop)
-enough space for toes to wiggle
– soft sole (otherwise I get plantar fasciitis)
-ability to tie the shoes (e.g. flip-flop are no good)
I apply this rule for the whole family.

what brand did you find so far?
I have inov-8 for indoor training where barefoot is not ideal/possible . For running, I have just received Merrell Bare access and looking forward into running minimalist. I had some inov-8 for that, but the sole texture was not ideal and still a 9mm drop.
funny how I got used to 0 drop (even have Earth shoes with negative heel), now I can really feel if there is a drop ..well, maybe not 3mm π
it is like taste bugs when you switch from sodas to water!
For day to day shoes, I basically pick whatever brand I find that fits the bill. Recently I bought a pair in the big boys aisle! coz women shoes really suck at this…and kids over toddler age is becoming tricky (especially girls…no wonder)

I too love the Merrell’s and also the New Balance Minimus. The problem I run into with the Merrells is that I get holes in the big toe area on the uppers after about a month! Happened twice so I tried the New Balance and have had no issues. I don’t run, just do Zuzka type stuff.
I love VivoBarefoot though for more walking everyday wear. I ran across those from Katy Bowman and the Mutu System. I believe all three of those are 0 drop or really close. Vivo are definitely 0. Of course none of these are “going out somewhere nice” shoes….but I’m at home and the gym 99% of my life so thats not a problem. I do own high heels and cringe each time I have to put a pair on…(AAAAAAHHHHHHH NEW YEARS EVE! )

Yay another MuTu mama!
I just restarted the program.
I thought about the toe problem too when I tried the Merrell. The reinforcement is not large enough. For every day I love Camper (Spanish brand) But not for winter or rainy days.

I am quite on track with the core workouts, short and sweet (and the essential part isn’t it) but well behind the intensive workouts. I will try to do them as I wake up maybe. I have been good for walking daily and making sure I just “don’t sit there”. Do you have an IG so we can remain in contact?

Please dont think me completely ignorant Laila, ugh!!! But I kinda am in regards to tech. IG…Instagram? If thats what IG means, no. I don’t have one. I don’t really take photos of anything other than my child, lol, so couldn’t really justify having an account. I actually JUST opened a Facebook account!!! I have all of 10 friends. Mostly just use that for my daughters homeschooling coop. π
I promise, I’m not 90 years old.

Are you on Facebook?

Ha, ha,I used to think the same: I bought a smartphone 2years ago only. I hate Facebook, so I don’t do anything on my account there and prefer the simplicity of Instagram. I mostly follow like minded accounts. And if have time will post what I do to keep track of my progress. It is relayed to fitness, my crafting hobbies and outdoor activities.

I love those boots and your whole outfit. I just bought some new black boots with a heel and I’m not used to heels either. But I’m going to look hot at the company Christmas party. Haha!

Ha π that was my 1 minute hairstyle. I brushed my hair up into a ponytail and then secured it with a schrunchie.
