So what do you think about expecting gratitude, when you give presents or doing something nice for others? Do you express your gratitude to others or are the three letter thanks kind of person?
Let us know and we’ll be back soon 🙂

I absolutely agree with Jesse. Worst. Billboard. Ever. I don’t necessarily give to receive appreciation, but I don’t think it is good form to not acknowledge a gift. Also, your caring for Smallsie is amazing. Thx for taking care of him 🙂

It is rude to not acknowledge a gift….I would far rather “over” thank someone for thinking of me than not thank them enough. My husband gives $100 gift cards to his nieces and nephews every year for Christmas and I am appalled that none of them ever take the trouble to even acknowledge his gift. I would have stopped giving them gifts a long time ago. I think that is the height of rudeness.

Personally I like to follow up thanks given in person with a thank you note. I would rather be thought of as someone who is very appreciative than someone who is rude and thoughtless.
