I LOVE essential oils! I have many, but peppermint is an absolute LIFESAVER for me — it gets used for so many things! It helps take the edge off my migraines or shoulder/neck pain (I know it’s typically advised to have it diluted…but full strength packs such a punch for me and feels so good, that I do it that way). I’ve also found it helpful with mosquito bites — when I’m bitten (my family jokes that the only bug repellent they need is to keep me around. I’m a mosquito magnet), I’ve found the combination that works like a charm for me is a spray of Benadryl and a drop of peppermint oil. The itch goes away and never comes back. And it’s the ONLY relief I’ve found for dreaded chigger bites (it doesn’t heal them, but it freezes away the itch enough to fall asleep at night until they finally heal on their own).

We’ve found Sacred Frankincense very useful, too. (there are several types of Frankincense…”Sacred” is supposed to be a little more potent, I’ve read)…we use it to heal wounds faster, and it seems to work (my husband was a sceptic…until I smeared some onto a cut for him to be amazed that it healed in a day or 2.

Also, there are so many blends you can get out there — I LOVE some of the relaxing blends with lavender, chamomile, and others dabbed on my pillow at night. It helps me fall asleep by getting me to breath in deeply and relaxing me. 🙂

And now that it’s Christmas-time…I love having a blend of different pines for a Christmas tree smell in my diffuser! LOVE essential oils!!!

I fully agree! I LOVE essential oils too and I use them on an every day basis. When I’m working at my office, I use a lemon verbena (don’t know the word in english…) to stimulate my mind. My daughter loves lavender on her bath and I personally enjoy a mix of bergamot, mandarine, sweet orange and sour orange. Thanks for sharing your favorite essential oils, Christin and Zuzka!

Okay this must be some divine intervention here because Sunday I pulled out the few oils I have after stuffing them away for a year and half.. and have decided It’s time to educate myself more on their uses. I’ve always used different oils sporadically for over 10 years now for spiritual/holistic reasons and this has motivated me to go further with it. Thank you! 😘
