THAT WAS AWESOME!!! Yes, autophagy is now more important than ever with what so many people are exposing themselves to willingly. 😉 Thank you, Zuzka for continuing to be a grounded, intelligent, logical, motivating role model and example for all of us. For me, fitness practice is so important. I typically stretch and mobilize afterwards, though it doesn’t always work out with my demanding schedule currently. My most favorite mind/body activity is surfing, which is also meditative, and I try to do this once or twice a week, but I am also at the mercy of the ocean’s mood (sometimes there are no waves when I want there to be 😭). If it’s not surfing, it’s hiking or yoga. But actually, I’ve been super wanting to get back into rock climbing like I did when I was in my late teens. Great idea! I love rock climbing because you’re literally resolving “problems”, having to engage your mind to reach the top. And for those of us who like to be up high (like on a wave), it’s so satisfying! I think also I may start doing hot yoga again, for the social and mental focus aspect, but also for that heat and sweating.

You are so right that we need to incorporate meditation to balance the Yang nature of physical exercise and movement with the Yin nature of meditation. And thank you for the reminder about the usefulness of visualization.

I will have to stop being such a WUSS and use the cold showers!! Eventually my partner and I want to get a sauna, so hopefully we can do heat therapy soon. Saunas are not as expensive as they used to be, woo hoo!

Work hard, play hard, live long. 🤙🏽

    Love you, Z!

Hi Zuzka, this was really empowering and motivating video.
I am inteerested in your diet with IF in a more detail.
I would be also interested in what are your favourite books and lastly how to deal with other people. I have no issue with exercising daily and eating healthy, I have no issues with what other people do but very often I face that others have issues with me (what I eat or why I am not eating snacks or cakes with them). My family is ok, the issue is at my work where I am “wierdo” and I feel there is some jelousness from some of my female colleagues. I would love to have good relationships there and I try to do my best at work but this makes the working environment bit unpleasant. I have to admit I am more intravental and I like to keep my own space and share my deep feelings only with my closest ones.
What are your thoughts on that Zuzka? Thank you.

You are such a kind and beautiful woman. Your willingness to share and inspire others is so appreciated. I would like to see you share what you eat in the eight hour window.
I’ve been doing IF sporadically to give my digestive system a rest and it has helped. I’ve also cut out dairy and of course processed sugar, however I do enjoy a glass of wine from time to time. At 58 yrs old IF has also helped me to maintain my weight and of course getting in plenty of exercise and sleep has also contributed to my maintenance.
Thank you for all you do to help me and all of your warriors 🙏💪🤗

This is amazing. I would love to hear more about intermittent fasting on 16/8.

I want to understand what good diet it is wrong to drink wine once a week.

What about the flat great I sometimes feel that I want a flatbread and a glass of wine.
Is cheese a bad alimentary habit? I

You can enjoy the occasional wine and bread. Cheese is not really that bad, but of course it depends on what kind and quantity. I think that 90/10 or 80/20 approach works great. What that means is that you choose to eat 80-90% clean and healthy. That gives you some room to party 🙂 but not too much. A lot of people say that moderation is a key but a lot of them lost track of what moderation actually means. And most importantly is that moderation helping YOU? Everyone has to figure that out for themselves.

Hi Zuzka thank you this was great. You once mentioned that you had or used to have a kidney issue – would you mind talking more about that and how you recovered? Or even how you’ve dealt with unexpected health issues even when you try to live a healthy lifestyle because unfortunately that can happen too 🙁

I live with some kind of kidney disorder. It’s genetic but when I was a kid doctors thought it was deadly and I spent a lot of time in hospitals until they found out that my mom has it too. Then everyone calmed down, but I was told I have to be careful and not do anything that could make it worse. So I drink my herbal teas like I’m suppose to and I eat healthy and I’m taking care of myself and so far everything’s good.

Thank you for this video, so much good information!

I’m happy to hear that heat stress is good for retaining muscle. Right now I’ve got a bunch of stitches, so I’ve been resting. Good reason to enjoy a hot bath (all my stitches are above the neck, so a bath is ok)!
