Z-SHRED FAT LOSS MEAL PLAN - Coffee Talk with Z

Blog | June 01, 2017

You guys also asked why are the meals in the plan repeating – don’t worry you won’t have to cook the same meal again and again – you’re going to cook once and eat twice or three times. This meal plan is for those of you who have busy life, which is often the reason why people fail to eat healthy. Most people don’t have the time to cook all their meals every day. I don’t have time for that either. I always make extra portions when I cook to have meals ready for the next day. It also helps to save you money and not waste food. Now if you’re someone who can afford to waste food, cook three times a day, and doesn’t like to eat leftovers, then I guess this meal plan is not for you 🙂

    Hey Zuzka,

Just read the article featuring you and Cassey on the BBC website! It made me feel proud to be a Zgym member, reading your comments. It is true that aside from the amazing workouts and other health related content you produce, your personal approach, relatability, and openness is what we love!

Thank you for everything you do. Wish you all the success, and that this community and brand continues to grow.

If anyone wants to read it, you can find it on the BBC news website. The title is “How has the fitness video adapted to the YouTube age?”

Is it possible to follow the plan if I know that I go to the restaurant with my boyfriend every sunday? I really make an afford on my eating habits, however traditionally we go out on sundays and I do it more because of my boyfriend, as he works a lot and we don’t really have so much time to spend together except of when we are going out.

Hi Liza, Maybe take what the plan suggests and find something on the menu that is similar, or ask the waiter to modify so it fits with the plans concepts.

Thank you so much to answer! I am just afraid to sabotage my diet and at the same time, to go out and to be with my couple out of the house is an important social part of the relation.

I appreciate the fact you kept in mind not to waste food. 🙂 It’s very sad to me that it is so expensive to eat healthy.
So many families out there don’t have the option to provide Whole Foods to their families on a daily basis.
I feel very fortunate to be able to provide veggies and fruit to my family. It’s the little things that are easily taken for granted.

    Dear zuzka,

I bought THe Plan yesterday and i Really Love it.
But i Totally miss a Workout Series for pregnancy. I have the secound in Front of me and do Not Know how to Workout. I Would Love a Series that is Parted in the months of pregnancy. Maybe just 5-7 Workouts for each month ? You Could Even use Older Workouts, But it would Be very Helpfull to have Workouts in pregnancy that keep me fit and flexibel and Prepare for the birth in the best way.

    Best Wishes,

    Isabell from Germany

I am excited about this meal plan because I am not the best at eating right all the time. So thank you for working so hard to make this meal plan for us. 🙂

Hi! I’m so excited I just signed up for a membership. I have a couple questions regarding the meal plan:

    1) I already eat very healthy. All home-cooked organic whole foods. My goal is not weight loss, as I am already very thin, but muscle gain and quicker recovery. Even with the healthy diet, my muscle recovery seems slow. I’m most interested in knowing how much to eat and when. Like, if I work out in the mornings, should I eat before the workout (if so, what?), or protein powder before, or nothing until after? When do I do protein powder vs protein foods. Is fasting good if you don’t want to lose weight. Etc. So, with my goals, is this meal plan right for me?

    2) If I already have an active membership and I bought the meal plan, would it give me the next 2 months free and be able to continue on the auto-pay for the months after that?

    Thanks!

      Hi Brittany,

      to answer your questions:
      1. If your goal is to gain lean muscles, you can still follow this meal plan and benefit. The only difference for you is that you should definitely include snacks (from the options that are listed there) between the main meals. In order to gain muscles, you have to eat more than you’re used to. These meals are low in carbs and high in protein so you’ll be gaining lean muscles. You should still listen to your body as to how much to eat. Overeating and overloading your digestive system is never a good idea, but you can benefit from more frequent meals. You don’t need to wait until you’re too hungry. I won’t tell you if you should eat before your workout – that’s something you have to decide. Tune in with your body. Do you feel like you have more energy if you eat before your training? Or does it feel better if you just drink water or coffee and eat after your training? You can have a smoothie if you want to include protein shake as one of your snack meals although I don’t promote protein powders as a necessary food. It’s only for convenience. Real, whole food is always the king. I don’t suggest Fasting if you’re not interested in losing weight. You can add more snacks on Wednesdays and Sundays to get more calories in – you can pick some recipes from the smoothies, low carb desserts or low carb snacks options.

      2. Yes, you can apply the coupon to your existing ZGYM membership and get the next 2 months free of charge.

I hope you’ll enjoy the meal plan!

I already bought the meal plan and I am very excited. Now, when we are done with it…after doing it for 16 weeks for example. What do you suggest as a “maintenance” diet? do we eat the same meal plan without the intermittent fasting days ? or do we still keep these intermittent fasting days but increase them a little more than 500 calories?? up to how many calories? thank you!!

Hi Z! Thanks to you and your team for putting this program together. I can tell from the screen shots that a lot of effort went into the details. My only question is do you include portion sizes for each of the meals in the plan? Such as 1 cup = 1 serving size? Based on your nutrition section I understand how to portion out individual items but not so much when you put a meal together, if that makes sense. Thank you again. 🙂

Hello Zuzka and thank you for your amazing work and all your engagement!

If you were to share this mealplan with a guy, how would the portions etc be for men? 🙂 Is there a description for men as well?
