Coconut Cinnamon Berry Smoothie with Fat Burner (FM)
Recipes | January 19, 2017
This is a great pre-workout meal replacement that will give you energy and fill you up without making your feel too full or heavy. It’s one of my favorite recipes I make with my Pre-workout protein blend. It’s absolutely delightful and it contains a lot of great ingredients that provide significant health benefits. Cinnamon, besides other health benefits reduces inflammation and lowers blood sugar levels which is a great for fat loss. Maca powder is a natural mood booster that also improves workout performance and gives you energy. My pre-workout protein blend is already and amazing energy and metabolism booster, so you’ll be invigorated and ready to perform.
Goat kefir is a more powerful probiotic than yogurt. Probiotics (microorganisms) can influence your health in many ways, including digestion, weight loss, and mental health. Kefir is also generally well tolerated by people who are lactose intolerant. I use goat kefir in my recipes instead of greek white yogurt.
Coconut milk contains MCT fats which can contribute to greater calorie expenditure, and fat loss.

1 portion (1 pocket) Pre-Workout Protein Blend with Fat Burner
1/2 cup coconut milk

I use coconut milk in can (BPA free), but I believe that using coconut milk in carton box is a good way to avoid the harmful chemicals as well. Just make sure that the consistency is like cream when you shake it and not too watery.

Hi Zuzka! Thanks again for a great recipe! I was wondering whether your blend is safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Thank you,

Unfortunately I can’t make the claim for legal reasons even if I strongly believed it’s safe. It’s always advised to talk to your doctor before taking any supplements.

Thank you Zuzka.
I will talk to my doctor, although they are not quite open here in France to supplements…

This is super good. Wasn’t expecting it to be as good. 😇 I just blended the walnuts and coconut in with the smoothie. Will be excellent for hot summer mornings when I do my workouts outside. I still wish the pre workout came in vanilla flavor though! 😉

I used chocolate egg white protein powder and no blueberries. Delicious!

Hey Z, I have your Pre-Workout Protein Blend with Fat Burner and I am wondering what, if any, differences there may be by taking this post workout?? I know it’s supposed to give you a boost in energy but I am wondering about the fat burning effects, etc? Thanks, Cindy
PS I hope you have plans to make a chocolate version:)

Made this without your protein blend as i don’t get it in Switzerland but used normal vanilla protein powder.
Also I didn’t use macha and cinnamon and swapped the goat kefir for plain greek yoghurt.
It was so good, it’s hard not to make another batch right again 🙂
Well, I did, but with raspberries for my husband. Tastes delicious as well.

Since your workout blend is not available to buy…what is good substitute? Scoop of protein? half a scoop o something else

Goat kefir, what does this do for nutrition and is there a substitute?
