Recipes | July 14, 2014
Today I have an awesome recipe for all of you who have sweet tooth and love pancakes! I mean who doesn’t like pancakes right? This recipe is gluten free, sugar free, Ketogenic, and absolutely delicious. I wanted to show you how fast and easy it is to make pancakes for breakfast so I made this video for just for you.
*Makes 5 small pancakes
Here are the ingredients:
2 eggs
2 oz cream cheese
2/3 cups almond flour
1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (pick one that has less than 2g of carbs per serving)
2 teaspoons Stevia or Monk Fruit sweetener
pinch of salt
________________________________________________
Directions:
Add all ingredients into a blender and make a smooth batter. It should be on a thicker side. If you’re not sure, then watch the video to see the consistency. Heat up 2 table spoons of coconut oil or grape seed oil in a frying pan on medium to high. You should get about 5 small pancakes out of this amount of batter. It won’t take longer than 15 minutes to prepare this amazing breakfast for you and your loved one.

Hey thanks for the delicious looking recipe!
Just for some info on eggs- the cage free still means the hens are battery farmed, try to go for free range or free roaming, or best yet, local farm eggs. Here is a good guide http://www.humanesociety.org/issues/confinement_farm/facts/guide_egg_labels.html

Did you use syrup or some substitute?

I always suggest low glycemic or sugar free options. I have just recently discovered coconut syrup which is low in glycemic index so it doesn’t spike your insulin and blood sugar levels and it’s healthier than agave.

Hi Zuzka,
You know a little baking soda with that pinch of salt would have added a little fluff to your pancakes. Maybe a little oil as well… I make oatmeal pancakes with almond flour. Higher in carbs but probably longer lasting and slower output of energy. I will try some of your recipe when I buy some protein powder again, thanks. –Chris

Zuzka! Where in the world can I purchase that mini blender you had the mixture in? And how many of these pancakes is ok to have in the morning?

Yes Zuzka, where can we purchase that blender and how many should we be eating ? Would you be able to provide us with more keto recipes and perhaps give us a few says worth of meals that you eat. You did that awhile back ago and it helped a lot ;)))

Hey Z, what brand of whey protein do you use? Thanks!

Swap the cream cheese for quark, higher protein and waaay better for you. Other than that they look great!:)
