Hi Maria! I think she answers it in another GTG video (don’t remember which one) : we don’t necessarily have to warm up except if it’s early in the morning or if feeling cold/stiff 🙂

Thank you for adding these modifications and tips for the pistol squat. I found just enough challenge to practice the pistol squats on the bosu. I will try to remember to practice several times a day, hopefully, I can see improvement within the week or month, regardless, I will add this practice to my warmup and cool down:)

If you are weaker on one side, should you do the easier variation on one side and more advanced on the other or do the easier variation on both sides until your weak side catches up to your strong side?

In the first squat, I can’t sit low without my heels coming off the ground. To have my feet flat, I can only squat so my butt is even with my thighs. Does this mean I have hip mobility issues? And ankle? Is it more important to sit low or to sit with your feet flat? If I put two sliding discs under my heel it almost touches. Thank you! I’m going to try to incorporate these mob therapy’s into every week. I really want to improve my flexibility this year! 😘

Hi, you might lack ankle or hip mobility or both. It’s important that you keep your heels on the ground when doing squats so just go as low as you can with good form and work on your mobility daily. I recommend that you follow the Post Workout Mob Therapy Series and you should also do the Mob for Pistol Squats at least 3-4 times a week.

Hey Zuzka. I wanted to let you know that I needed to find “Grease the Groove #1” and couldn’t find it in the list of workouts nor did it come up when I searched it on your website. I ended up needing to go to google and searched “zuzkalight grease the groove #1” and it was the only way to find it.
