Workout Schedule for The Week of November 17th

Workout Schedules | November 16, 2014

This week we’re going to shake things up a little. I decided to re-shoot the entire Kettlebell DVD for beginners. I’ve been getting a lot of e-mails about this DVD set and since they haven’t bee available outside of United States and I have no control over the DVDs, it makes sense to have them available here in the ZGYM™.  I’m also going to re-shoot the old ZWOWs to put them back on YouTube and include them into our workout schedule. And the last series that needs to be back asap is Guns & Pistols, so there will be a lot of variety in this week’s workout schedule! I hope you’re excited and ready to rock.

Zuzka, i have a problem. I haven’t the ketteball, so i can’t do the workout with it.
I have tried to use a dumbbell but it’s not the same, because it’s so uncomfortable. I can do only the swing.
I can’t buy the kettleball because it’s very expensive, but i don’t want to escape to the workout.
    How can i do?

You’re missing out on many great exercises by not having the kettlebell. You can change up the exercises and do a squat and press with dumbbells but it’s not going to be the same workout without it. The kettlebell swing is the best exercise in my opinion to keep one in shape. You can’t do that exercise with dumbbells because with dumbbell is more of a pull then a swing.

If you can afford to buy something, maybe try those sandbag kettlebells. You can adjust the sand up to 25 lbs. Another neat option, which I will use when traveling, is a Kitty litter box. The ones with a handle. Buy the smallest one and adjust the weight. I wear gloves, so doing snatches and presses do not bother me.

Arianna, I bought these KB’s on Amazon. They are not RKC, but they are a very impressive KB for the price! 🙂 Hope that helps. KB’s are definitely a great investment. 🙂 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0061ZO6BC/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A7BDHNKH3IXDW

Hi Z, First off I would like to congratulate you on all your hard work and accomplishments . I’ve been a follower throughout your journey. You are a great role model for us women. So aside from wanting to congratulate you, I was wondering if you can help me. I am under going re-constructive surgery on my hand, and I don’t want to stop with my workouts. I was wondering if you can do some hands free workout routines that I would be able to rotate, so that I’m able to keep up with my training.

    thanks a bunch
    Lucy

I know this is probably wishful thinking, but I wish there was a way Z’ s fan could buy back all her old workouts so she could have it back in her possession. Oh well, like I said wishful thinking.

Hi Zuska, could you please show some exercises for people with problems of scoliosis and/or people (like me) who due to their work, sit long hours in front of the PC and have pains at their back, due to inappropriate sitting?…

Hi Zuska, I find the new site great! I’ve started following the week schedule, and this should be the third day…but my legs are hurting so much..and today at work I could barely walk :D….
I’d like to keep going, but I hope the pain will pass.. probably my warm up and cool down weren’t that efficient.

    Best!!Keep it up!

    Hi Zuzka,
Not sure where to post when I am thinking, lol. I was going to do your Beginners KB #1 today, but since I drove for 5 hours Friday, no workout yesterday, and drove for 5 hours last night, I wanted something more intense than a rest day workout. I ended up doing your old ZWOW #18. I loved it. I warmed up and cooled down with Essentric stretching. Now, my question is this: #18 was 5 Rounds of 4 exercises. It took me 30 min. It was intense and my heart rate was soaring and my muscles burning. I am just wondering what is the benefit of doing 5 or 6 rounds like you have done on some, vs doing 3 rounds? I like going longer than 15 min, so usually push another round of your workouts, but want to make sure I am not doing harm or going backwards, but moving forwards with my fitness, if that makes any sense. Hope you see this and reply.
    Thank you
    tracey
