Workout Schedule for The Week of November 17th

Workout Schedules | November 16, 2014

This week we’re going to shake things up a little. I decided to re-shoot the entire Kettlebell DVD for beginners. I’ve been getting a lot of e-mails about this DVD set and since they haven’t bee available outside of United States and I have no control over the DVDs, it makes sense to have them available here in the ZGYM™.  I’m also going to re-shoot the old ZWOWs to put them back on YouTube and include them into our workout schedule. And the last series that needs to be back asap is Guns & Pistols, so there will be a lot of variety in this week’s workout schedule! I hope you’re excited and ready to rock.

_________________________________________________________

Monday: BodyCrush #7 (NEW in ZGYM)

Tuesday: Guns & Pistols #9 (New in Workouts)

Saturday: Kettlebell Workout for Beginners #1 (NEW in ZGYM)

Brilliant! I’d join ZGYM just for the kettlebell training. 😉
I’ve been on the hunt for your kettlebell DVD’s but it’s really hard to get your hands on these in Germany. Very happy that you’re going to make the kettlebell training available in the ZGYM.
Of course, I’m looking forward to your other workout series as well. 🙂

Hi Zuzka, I was just wondering … your oldest schedules included two active rest days, I really truly don’t complain about them disappearing, but why did you replace them ?

Because I don’t take rest days. I sit on my butt all day long in front of my computer working, and get hardly any other exercise. Our bodies were designed to move every day. It doesn’t have to be always at a high intensity, but we should exercise daily if we have a sedentary lifestyle and most of us do. We drive cars or take public transportation instead of walking, we sit in offices, and if your job requires you to stand, that’s not good either, because remaining in one position without much movement is just not good for our musculoskeletal system. That’s why I exercise daily.

Yup, I definitely agree! I try to move every day even if I don’t have that much time. If I’m really busy (although I try to workout every day as well 🙂 ), I’ll usually use phone calls to walk around the room, put some things away (which also serves the purpose of keeping my apartment tidy xD) or just do some random push ups or air squats – or whatever motivates me – in between.

That’s pretty logical hahahaha ! And I totally agree, I sit all day too so I’m really seing a difference now that I workout every day, I feel more energized, toned, and the results, gosh, they are so quick ! I’m really glad you propose that schedule now 😀

Zuzana, I can’t believe you are going to re-shoot all the ZWOW’s!! That is fantastic (and you can compare your times too!).
You are working so hard, and I wanted you to know that it is really appreciated. I have been following you since your early Bodyrock days and I carry your workouts with me wherever I go. I have been doing 5 of your workouts every week for years now, I am a Zuzka Addict.
I am super excited for you, that you now have control over your own work – keep pushing and you will achieve so much 😉
(ps I love the workout schedule up on the right hand side)

That is funny you mention the ZWOWs as instead of the 5 pushups in Bodycrush #7 I was planning to attempt the Push ups off the ground that is in yor ZWOW #70 Crazy Beep one. I want to see if I can do that one and since the push ups are 5 reps, why not try!

    Dear Z,

I have been following you since your first workouts in the grass :). Your workouts just work, they speak for themselves. You are so amazing and your awesomeness has made me come back again and again. You are so inspirational. Thanks to you I now adore exercise! And those low-carb pancakes, bomb.com :). The only way is up for you :).

    Kisses from Carla 🙂

Zuz, as you reshoot the old ones will you continue to create new ones? I find that many of your old ZWOWs were a lot easier than what you’re creating today. I agree with an earlier poster that there has definitely been a progression and the newest ones get better every day. Please don’t stop creating news as you go! Love and gratitude! 🙂

Hi Abby, I only want the old Zwows back on youtube and thought we could incorporate them here and there into our schedule. I have no intention to stop with the new routines, because I know they’re a lot better 🙂

Would you be able to incorporate the dip station and sand bag that i’m sure a lot of us have from body rock days in some of your workouts?

To be honest, I have recently attended the Sandbag certification course, and I really didn’t like it. It felt clumsy to me and I just didn’t enjoy it. The kettlebells are so much better and make more sense as an exercise equipment. As for the dip station, I guess I could do a workout with that since you can do the same exercises with two chairs and a broomstick. I want to make sure that my workouts are accessible to everyone and not just to people who have the extra equipment.

Hi Zuzka, just wanted to say thanks regarding the minimal use of specialist equipment! I actually learnt about HIIT training in 2008 when my running buddy recommend bodyrock to me, but I didn’t pursue that as I was (and am) still a poor student who can’t afford to buy and store sandbags/dip stations etc. Really appreciate being able to workout with my bodyweight, one set of dumbbells and some kettlebells! 🙂
