4 Advanced Exercises I Learned At The Age of 39
Fitness | May 09, 2022
At what age am I too old to set new fitness goals?
At the age of dead!
Not dead yet? Then start setting new fitness goals for yourself because it’s one of the best ways to let your mind and body know that you’re not here to slowly deteriorate and die. You’re here to live to your fullest and what better way to feel alive than keeping your body in motion?
A few key takeaways:
- Body in motion stays in motion
- You have to CREATE energy to have energy. Waiting for energy to magically appear does not work.
- Consistent effort yields results. These exercises where out of my reach when I first decided to work on them. But I knew one thing to be true – every time I work on it, I make progress even if I don’t see it right away.

I was in Zgym for about 10 years, but not what I need anymore. I did leave Zgym for more than one year as it didn’t fit my needs anymore, not as much engaged anymore and lacking a few things my body was craving. I have shifted my gear to mainly strength training. I try HIIT style (strength endurance) once in a while, but can’t enjoy/manage well anymore. I have indeed plenty of objectives and just scratching the surface 🙂 age is just a number (soon hitting 50)
I thought I would give it a try again, but see that Zgym has changed. I wish all the best for this community and hope you all enjoy the workouts and the rest.

Hi I’m one of your older subscribers. People have commented on how youthful I stay physically. They also are invited to work out with me too. I’ve had a competitive background and find those who haven’t been in sports lack intensity . The ability to hit it harder is what they lack. It is the intensity of the person which makes progress and strength with agility. I’m much more capable than I was 10 years ago. If it wasn’t for my facial lines from laughing but those I earned. Thank you for your daily motivation.

You inspire me. I’m a gramma and my grandchildren all do some of the things with me. We are never too old. Hurt yes but we must carry on. Much Love from Wisconsin! Id love my grand daughter learn to do the pistol. I was cheating some before I had knee surgery. I’m going to keep doing what I can.

I’m 61 and have been doing zgym for 6 years starting with the bunny slope. I’ve been doing the daily intermediate for several years now. I don’t think I’ll get to advanced, but I have improved a lot. Some things I’m just not able to do even modified bit intermediate is awesome and doig the job. Just raise the weights, do more reps, go faster, keep pushing. I’m proud to say I’m in better shape than many women I know in their 30s. Thank you so much Zuska. There is nothing like what you provide with the encouragement that you naturally give during your routines. I wouldn’t be here without you. (I started two years out from chemo, radiation, double mastectomy and reconstruction ). I’m in the best shape at 61 of my entire life.

I will turn 40 this year (2024), I met you on YouTube and started Zgym since 2017. I can tell the GREAT improvement that Zgym gave to me. From 0.5 push-up till 10🤭 and can do advanced work outs but not those from this video 🤣
A lot of bodybuilder influencers out there but I think I will stay with you Forever! Z❤️💕
