Oh dear, I couldn’t even give Zuzka a big toe thumbs up. Lots of work ahead!

Thank you so much, Z. Working out with you for so long has helped my feet so much. My feet are completely flat, making it challenging to do anything requiring balancing on one leg, but I’ve developed a lot of strength in my feet and legs to be able to do adapt. Thank you for this video, as this is something I’ll need to do for a lifetime.

Also, I’ve been wearing toe spacers to bed and at work for many years now. That’s helped a lot. I’ve made a habit of wearing silicone toe spacers that separate all my toes (they’re meant to be for painting toenails and are reusable) at night. It’s amazing how stretching out my feet and toe muscles while I sleep makes a huge difference to how my legs and back feel (even neck). But then again, I was born with fully collapsed feet and have been athletic since I was a child. So I’ve had plenty of opportunity for awareness of how weak feet or feet with lack of integrity cause pain and injury everywhere. Since working out with Zuzka, I haven’t had any injuries. Prior to her workouts I’d have knee problems that I fully attribute to collapsed feet.

My toe spacers are falling apart now after several years, so I’m totally interested in Correct Toes. Thank you for the recommendation!!!

I super duper loved this. First off I thought Zuzka was just an anomaly with the big toe separating from the little toes. But then my husband came along and did it the exact same way (of course he did). Then my son did it at about 80%. It took me forever but eventually my toes and big toes separated. lol! Barely. BUT! I focused on my feet when exercising, really tried to connect to them and the exercises felt more difficult yet more stable. The ballerina squat was done way on my tippy toes and I tried to keep the tension in my toes. What a totally different balancing act! I loved connecting to my feet! I’m thinking about getting some minimalist shoes for summer. This week only my strongest danner boots could survive. Icy walkways and icy puddies. That what it’s like before Spring comes but I love it.

Correct toes have helped my feet a lot. I also wear Vivo barefoot shoes often. The exercises felt good, so definitely adding these exercises to my routine!

Hi Zu. I have a question regarding training shoes. It is been a while I started training barefoot and since then I can’t think of wearing shoes to train anymore except when jumping rope. I tried jumping rope barefoot but didn’t enjoy the first hit of the rope in my toes… Here you recommend a kind of “barefoot shoe”. Would you recommend them for jump rope too or do you have another preference for jump rope? Big thanks! Also, our daughter, 4 and half years old, asked me to tell you that she loves your new exercise space and that she is eager to exercise with you there. She feels you very close to her from the life sessions and our regular exercise meetings with you! You are already a big positive influence in her life! Big thanks!

I’m especially interested in my pelvic floor lately as I’ve noticed an urgency to pee. My friends confirm that they have the same issues. One just hit her 50th birthday. We are all getting there. I did not know that our pelvic health is closely associated with our feet. I’ve been giving extra love to my feet and ankles this past month and I’ve already noticed a difference.
