5_minute_workout_32_abs

This is a great routine that you can do not just on your easy days, but also as an addition to your regular workouts as a bonus. You will attack your abs and core from many different angles and even raise your heart rate up a little, however this workout is not enough to earn your carbs…unless…you complete 3 rounds and make it a 15 minute training.

1. Scissors

2. Side crunch left side

3. Side crunch right side

4. Plank Jacks

5. Russian Twist

6. Bird Dogs

Intervals of 10 seconds rest and 40 seconds of max. effort.

When counting your reps, count one rep of plank jacks after jumping your legs in and out.

    Did this today, couldn’t do plank jacks or bird dogs with my foot so I substituted for star crunches and sit ups with oh press with kb.

    Once again, my go too wo, I am limited on what I can do right now so I find myself doing these abs and upper body wo’s. Bird dogs I had to do on my knees and did forward scissors with sit ups for plank jacks.

    This was perfect addition to killer legs #11. Idid 2 rounds and feel completed. I had a busy day at work but those 30 minutes made me feel relaxed and “me” again 🙂
    I am such an exercise addict 😀
