  1. 20 reps - Lunge Pulse / Side Lunge - (L x10)(R x10)
  2. 40 reps - Clam / Extension Lift - (L x20)(R x20)
  3. 16 reps - Side Step Squat / Knee Up
  4. 30 reps - Kneeling Leg Lifts - (L x15)(R x15)

    Hi Zuzka, The Clam / Extension Lift combo was sooo intense! My muscles ( Gluteus Medius & G minimus ) were cramping, so it was intense to do the side step squat/ knee up combo. It was an AWESOME routine! Thank you! xoxo

    The clam exercise killed me and you make it look so effortless lol this felt good esp after my overindulgence yesterday for Christmas but I’m right back at it. Thx for the awesome workout!

    I’m in agreement with everybody on the clam / extension exercise!! Burning and cramping. I’ve been sick with a head cold for the past few days so this was just the right amount of work. Got a bit of a sweat going but didn’t wipe myself out. Loved the lower body focus. Next time I’ll do this with my ankle weights and weighted vest!!

    Feeling my lower body for sure! I usually intermediate or advanced wo’s and I found this beginner one and it did not feel like a beginner wo at all. Loved it! So nice to have so many options. As always, thank you Zuzka for all you do for us. Much appreciated!!

      I’m with you on this
      We always think beginners are easy,but it is only that the combos are basic not the intensity
      I’m following all zu bodyweight wo’s and there’s a good mix of beginners to x-athletes and I’m sweating and I’m satisfied and exhausted as much with advanced as with beginners πŸ˜‚
      I always think I’ll add two more rounds to beginners if it’s not too challenging but so far I didn’t need to, that said I don’t feel like cutting any time or reps off advanced so all great

    I did this as an add on to some bicep and back work this morning, and mannnn. It was killer! Those clam and extensions.

    Just a reminder that β€œbeginner” doesn’t have to mean easy.
