Jump Jacks with Jump Rope

  • Keep your elbows close to your body
  • Keep your shoulders back and down and your chest up
  • Spin the rope only with your wrist
  • Jump with your feet apart for one spin of the rope and together for the next
  • Practice jump roping outside of your workouts for at least a few minutes a day to learn the skill. It won’t take long and you will be able to follow the workouts within 2-3 weeks if you practice daily.
  • If you can’t do this exercise with the jump rope yet, do regular jumping jacks
