Plank Jump to Plank Jack Transformers

  • Start in plank position with your hands under your shoulders and feet hip width apart
  • Keep your body in one straight line and tense all of the muscles
  • Jump your feet forward towards your arms and then right back
  • Get down onto your elbows and jump your feet apart and back together, return to plank
  • Make sure you’re not arching your lower back and dropping your hips
  • Don’t shrug your shoulders or bring your shoulder blades together by sagging your upper body – keep your shoulders packed and tense the muscles of your chest and upper back
  • Don’t be sloppy with the jumps and focus on tensing the muscles in your legs
