Scissors

- Keep your elbows close to your body
- Keep your shoulders back and down and your chest up
- Spin the rope only with your wrist
- Jump with your feet apart with one leg forward and one leg back – switch legs for each rep
- Practice jump roping outside of your workouts for at least a few minutes a day to learn the skill. It won’t take long and you will be able to follow the workouts within 2-3 weeks if you practice daily.
- If you can’t do this exercise with the jump rope yet, do regular scissors pretending you’re using a jump rope. Visualization and going through the movement will help you improve your agility.
