- Lay on your back, engage your core and lift your extended legs off the ground at the same time with your upper body. Your body should look like the letter V in the top of the movement.
- Try to elongate your spine in the sit up position
- Keep your arms extended beside you and reach forward as you sit up
- If it’s too hard, you can keep your knees bend

When I learned to do a v-up I was told on the way down only lower your legs until you lose your low-back being pushed against the floor which feels safer than lowering your feet all the way down…Perhaps a consideration for anyone with back issues…
