Warrior Wednesday #9 - Flying Pigeon
Fitness | May 24, 2016
Flying Pigeon is one of my favorite yoga poses because it always makes me feel like I’m doing something really challenging and out of the box. Which is true on one hand, on the other hand it was the first arm balance I’ve learned and the easiest one. It’s a great starting point for those of you who want to develop the strength and balance for handstand or even the flexibility necessary for splits. Working on opening up your hips is always a good thing so even if you’re not crazy about the Flying Pigeon, I’m sure you’ll enjoy today’s ZGYM workout that focuses on upper body strength and hip mobility and flexibility.
Here’s the tutorial on how to best practice for this beautiful looking pose:

Hi Zuzka! I was trying this as my first arm balance. never tried it before but it doesn’t work, I think I need more strength in my arms, what could I do or follow in the ZGYM to improve it?
