Hotel Room Workout #2 | From Idaho
Blog | November 06, 2013
Hi everyone, I have already posted on my Facebook page this morning a picture from my hotel room in Idaho taken after my hotel room workout. I was really pressed for time and couldn’t upload the video and write the post earlier. I had to go to a couple hour long meeting and from there directly to the airport to go back to Los Angeles. Let me tell you one thing. I enjoy to travel anywhere in the world but nothing is better than coming back home. Right now Jesse and I are chilling on the couch together surrounded by our four legged best friends, which is my favorite way of enjoying the evenings. Anyways here is the workout I did in the hotel this morning in Boise Idaho:
If you have friends who travel a lot make sure to share these workouts with them, so that they can keep themselves in shape anywhere they go. It’s really easy to keep on track with your training even if you are a busy traveler. These workouts are great because they are simple and doable, yet you’ll find them very effective. Let me tell you, I couldn’t start my day better then a with a quick workout and a healthy breakfast, like I did today. I felt great and ready to shine on my meetings. I am ready to go to bed, and I wish you good night you guys 🙂

When I travel for work I usually go for a run, followed by sets of elevated push ups, boxing sit ups, arches, squat jumps, push up Burpees and where possible arm curls (using table or chairs)
The sets start usually a 30 reps, down to about 10 reps I’m steps of two.

So jealous with how easy you make a pistol squat look. They are the one exercise I have a really hard time doing. Would love to be able to do even just ONE successfully 🙂

Me too! I just can’t do it.

Ditto! So wish I were able to go down as low (and be able to get back up)

I love seeing these workouts! And if you ask me, they are challenging enough for weight loss! Just the pistol squats are deadly enough for me!

Hey zuzka! I’m not sure if you will get this. But I just got back into working out “with you”, I’m in the zgym, and found out today my left shoulder is so bad, I can’t work it out in a certain way. Would you please shed me a light as to what to do instead of puch ups, I can’t do them for a week. Or any movement that does that movement to the shoulder. I don’t want to not work out for the rest of the week. Its taken me a month to get back on track, and I was just warming up to start the zwows again next week. 🙁 can u help?

Hi! So sorry to hear about your shoulder pain! I’ve got similiar problems, and the only thing I can recommend is using lighter weights and focus more on your form when training them. (Shoulders back and down, so that they stay in one position)
I know this is from Zuzanas earlier days, but she made a video for someone who’s arm was broken (I think). It’s a hands free workout! You can get some inspiration from this video, get a great workout without hurting your shoulders 🙂

I love these. I have a very small space to workout and sometimes have to modify the ZWOWs. Also my ceiling is low so jumping up after burpees has to be with arms down! Thank you Zuzka
