It’s transformation Tuesday!
I got this email from Adriana who is a mom and a wife and a Warrior. She decided to share her story and motivate all of you to stick with your training, and healthy lifestyle and never give up!
Hi Zuzana! My name is Adriana Veltre I live in Beaumont Ca I just turned 37 July 22 1977 I have 2 little boys 6yrs old and a 3 yr old. I started working out with you June 2012 I celebrated my 2yrs with you as a WARRIOR! I was introduced to you by a mother I met at the local library. She was in amazing shape and said she only works out 12-20 mins a day! I called bull sh$t but I was in horrible shape and did not have time to go to a gym or go running with a 1 1/2 yr old at the time and a 4yr old. She said let’s do them together! The rest is history. I was hooked.
In 2013 January you did a 30 day challenge/clean eating. That really made a difference in my body! I was seeing the transformation! I can’t begin to tell you how inspiring and motivating you are for me! As a stay at home mom having these 12-20 mins with you a day makes me a better mother, friend, wife! I feel alive, any anxiety or stress is gone after I workout! If you post these pictures I would love to inspire another mother or person and they can know with clean eating and being committed to ur workouts you will get results!
My weight when I started was 126 I am 5’0 chest= 39 1/2 (I was BreastFeeding) waist= 29 1/2 my butt hips were 39 1/2 now as of today is chest 35 waist 25 hips 37 I weigh 118 not much weight lost but I look like a different person! Thank you for all you do!! I am a WARRIOR!! It is funny I feel like we are friends! I talk to you when I workout and my boys think you are a SuperHero! Haha

Wow, good job. I a, 5 ft, 49 almost yrs old,and weigh 127! So similar height, weight. I am 36-27-37. Looking to drop about 5 pounds for now. Would love to be back under 120, but have not been able to. Very hard after a certain age. I do these workouts daily, plus extra cardio, running, tennis, etc. Last time I was 118 was after I had my daughter and had the flu!

Valerie – I’m almost (ugh) 53 so totally get the certain age. Keep your eating clean but eat enough calories or you will lose muscle, get hurt and not be healthy == especially protein. I am a vegetarian and supplement, especially after a weight workout with whey (very pure isolate) and water. You can do it — be in the minority of women of a certain age that move the numbers down, slowly and healthily. Focus on how your clothes fit (measurements) vs scale number.

I’ve had the same experience after having my first child. I didn’t have time to spend an hour in the gym 3-4 days a week and was so grateful I found Zuzka. I got down to my pre-pregnancy weight in about six months after doing the workouts and eating clean.

THANK YOU fellow WARRIORS!!! I appreciate all the love! I really hope I can inspire just one person and I feel I accomplished that.! Ciara, when I first started with Z I would watch the video at night and do the work out in the morning on my own. There was no way I could keep up with Z. Now I can do more then her … Hehehe sometimes!! Her workouts are the only workouts I do 6-7 days a week! I do not do anything else! Hopefully in the future we can all talk and have like a member board!! Thanks Zuzana I love you and appreciate all you do for us!!!! Ciao!!

My approach to food is everything in moderation. I love, love food. What I try to on a daily basis is, I do not eat 3 hours before I to to sleep. I don’t not eat anything processed, I eat tons of veggies and fruit. After I workout I have almond milk one tablespoon of organic whey protein and a mix of berries with kale and any greens I have in the fridge or freezer and 1/2 a tablespoon on cayenne pepper one tablespoon chia seeds! I always have that as a recovery drink. My portions are small and eat about 6 times a day and drink lemon water all day and make a drink with 1 tbs raw honey couple shakes of cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of Apple cider vinegar braggs! That is a detox drink I crave it . I eat out about once a month. Sorry I know this is a lot hope I make sense! I hope I kind of answered ur question!! 🙂

Low Carbing yes! I don’t do paleo! I am not gluten free but do not eat bread or any carbs unless they come from fruits and veggies. Ty Haley!!

Adriana, Congratulations!! This lifestyle is so awesome and accessible for folks who thought that the only way to see change is to workout for hours in a gym…. so not true! No doubt you have to kill it every time you workout…. but I can easily do that for 12 -20 minutes a day and have been for years now….. I’m forever changed and grateful. Keep up the great work!!
