Hi Zuzka I also am quite concerned about this free meal thing with high carbs in the ingredients .. how can this be. Even though there are fibers to slow them during the breakdown in the body it is still well over 20 gm of carbs nor that I am actually following this type of 20 gm carb counting as I think all counting sucks buttons…but I would really love to know where your thinking is on this high carbs included in your free meals without using a workout to burn off those heavy carb loads. I have quinoa but haven’t opened the box this is the second box Ive had the first got tossed due to never opening it in three years…oops. I don’t want the carbs…not that I restrictions myself when it comes to jalapeño cheddar chetos I have a inconsistent inconsistencies. Sorry. I’m trying… must do.. no more trying, must do or do not. I wouldn’t be concerned about the carbs for a portion as tiny as 1/4 cup of cooked quinoa. 🙂
I looked up on the Internet about nutrition facts and this portion contains probably no more than 10g of carbs. The rest of the ingredients are very low in carbs so I guess this is why Zuzka classified this recipe as a Free meal.

I am doing Zshred. In the diet layout for the week it it says its a FM but it also says its a WEM (classified lumch/dinner WEM). Can someone please clarify or is this just a typo?

Also can you substitute keto friendly meals as FM and stay on track with the Zshred Diet?

I am guessing this is one of those meals where it can be either FM or WEM depending on how strict you are being with the carbs and your activity level. I think she posted something about this before, where she said something like; if you are trying to lose weight then you would be more restrictive with carbs, but if you already are in shape you could be a bit more lenient, and it is also a very small amount of Quinoa. If its listed as a FM in the ZShred plan i’m guessing its because it balances out with the other meals and the workout. Also it is delicious!
